    Fabulous stay at hotel sportsman !

    Pros: This hotel was beyond our expectations! The staff - especially Regina - were very very friendly, kind and helping ! Every question we had was answered and they helped us with local hidden gems. Breakfast was very nice . Fresh fruits and granola every morning . The juice maker was my favorite. We were also served at the beach with drinks - very lovely ! Thank you again for everything!

    A most enjoyable stay, the staff were most welcoming and helpful.

    Pros: Splendid lakeside location with plenty of sunloungers. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices
    Cons: The food in the restaurant was ok but not outstanding. At breakfast the scrambled eggs were rather variable and the bacon greasy.

    Marvelous place to stay!

    Pros: Almost everything really! This is just the place we needed after such a long road trip. Pure relaxation by the lake, superb views, impeccable room and service. I could have stayed longer! The receptionist and waiters were all very friendly and helpful. We swam in the lake (cold and wonderful) which is directly in front of the hotel. Dinner was wonderful (spaghetti with vongole, we kept it simple!), reasonable priced. Breakfast is included with many choices. the hotel caters mostly for German tourists, so very efficient service! Free parking behind the hotel.
    Cons: The capuccino in the morning was disappointing. Almost cold...

    Pros: Breakfast was excellent, plenty of options. The location is OK, 15/20 min walk to Bardolino, however, you are surrounded by campsites. The location is very popular with Germans and Dutch so you may want to brush up on some language skills if you want to converse with other holiday makers. The hotel is also very quiet.
    Cons: Limited atmosphere around the hotel in the evening. Perfect if you want a really quiet holiday.

    A lovely beach resort hotel

    Pros: This is going to be a long list of likes! The location was amazing, just across the pedestrian walkway to the lake beach with loungers and umbrellas, we borrowed the kayaks from the hotel and had a great paddle for a couple of hours one afternoon. Swimming pool was huge and well maintained. Our room had a lake view (no balcony) and it truly felt like we were in a proper beach resort. It was a great size with a good sized bathroom too. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was vast and good gluten free options available. Staff very attentive, bar area very comfortable and a good lunchtime menu. We didn't eat there in the evening as there was a requirement for long trousers in the restaurant and the menu was a little fixed for slightly choosy teens, but there's a great pizza restaurant within a 2 minute walk.
    Cons: Remember to take mosquito spray as we needed it in the late afternoon / early evening.

    We wished we had more time to enjoy the setting.

    Pros: It was a beautiful setting. Breakfast was good with many different food selections. Pool was nice and beach side amenities were good.
    Cons: It was a bit difficult getting a taxi from the train station to the hotel.

    solid comfortable hotel

    Pros: it is not a 5 star hotel, but nobody is trying to say so. very freindly staff. very clean and well maintained. quite cheap cocktails in the bar. good pool. plenty of parking.
    Cons: limited pool hours (0800-1900).i couldnt connect to their wifi from 3 devices. room windows are narrow. you cannot really sit and enjoy lake view from the room. lack of private balconies. the lake is getting bad. you have to walk a lot in muddy sand before you get relatively clean and deeper waters.

    Excellent location & place to enjoy the Lake Garda

    Pros: Breakfast is great for the value. Reserved beach is one of the best or may be the best sand beach of lake Garda. Ive realized that many visitors of the hotel were frequent visitors from various countries (mostly German & Brits) and they know each other for a long time so that means it is a good place since people keep coming back to the same hotel.
    Cons: Pre-order and reservation requirements for the hotel restaurant.
