My experience fell short of expectations due to the lack of prompt resolution of maintenance issues, disregard for guest

Pros: The location

Cons: I recently stayed for two nights, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. Upon arrival, I noticed that neither the heating nor the hot water was functioning in my room. I promptly informed the front desk, and they assured me that someone would be sent to fix it within half an hour.However, I expressed my concern about a stranger entering my room without prior notice, to which the staff member dismissively remarked that it was no different from the cleaning staff entering. This lack of understanding of privacy concerns was disappointing.To my dismay, when I returned to my room later that night, the issues remained unresolved. With no staff available at the front desk, I had no choice but to wait until the next morning to address the situation again.The following day, while the hot water was fixed, the heating issue persisted. Additionally, I was disappointed to find that the room was not adequately cleaned upon check-in, as evidenced by a lipstick stain on the floor.I hope these issues can be addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

Cons: First of all, I need to point out that it is not the place shown in the photos, there is a street behind your apartment. The room smelled very damp, there was no hot water, no slippers, and no drinking water. The towels also smelled, it's what you don't expect from a hotel, we went to the reception around 23:00 in the evening, the smell of cigarette (!) remained, there was no one at the reception, we couldn't even explain our problem, if you want to throw your money away, go

Pros: The hotel is excellent, it has a perfect location, really near from downtown and a lot of restaurants but still in a quiet and beautiful area

Cons: I was so tired when I arrived and then I found out that I still had to walk to the rooms bulding in other street... it was weird haha it's not far away one from other but Brugge streets are under manteinment so it wasn't so easy to get to the rooms with the suitcase

Cons: Unfortunately, this was the most negative hotel experience in my life. Having checked into the room, on the very first night I woke up from the fact that I was bitten by BEDBUGS (BETTWANZEN! !). When I went down to the reception and complained, the manager was not surprised at all, but at the same time said that he did not have any solution to "my problem". If you have bedbugs in your hotel, it's not my problem - it's your problem. At 2 a.m. he could not offer me any other solution than to go to the room and spend the night in the company of bedbugs (and then to try to find a solution in the morning). He didn't offer me another room (ok, they might not have been in the hotel) or another hotel. There were literally two options: sleep with bedbugs or sleep on the street. He didnt help me to find another hotel because, according to him, "he doesnt know the city and doesnt know hotels nearby". He gave me the "number for emergency contact", but no one answered (at 2 a.m. people usually sleep, yes, and I also wanted to sleep in normal conditions I've paid for). It's (1) a violation of sanitary standards, (2) disrespectful and unacceptable customer service, (3) a bad reputation for the hotel, (4) a bad reputation for the whole city. I had to urgently look and pay for a new place. Later I've read the reviews on Google and realized that this is a normal situation for this hotel, its a pity that I didnt check them in advance, my vacation was ruined.

Top location, quiet, safe, comfortable, friendly staff.

Pros: Its located in a central part of the city, still not in the centre itself so it is quiet. Only 5-10 Minutes from main attractions. A lot of cafs and restaurants near by. A big central parking lot 2 min. away for 15/24h. We stayed in a building 2 streets away from the main hotel building and lobby. The stairs are narrow and it is tricky with a lot of luggage, but other than that it was pretty decent. The room was small, had a big comfortable bed with a lot of cushions, a wardrobe, a safe, a TV, a small desk with a chair and a small shared balcony. The bathroom was small, but clean. The staff was friendly, although we didnt interact as much. It was cold and the heating was on so it was quite warm, wich we enjoyed, but it may be too much for some. All in all you get a feeling youre staying at a friends house in the city, which I liked.

Cons: The balcony doesnt have a roof so it was wet when raining. It is shared with 2 other rooms so you cant leave the door open at night because of security reasons. The balcony chairs were old and almost broken. The breakfast isnt included for the cheaper rooms. It can get very hot because of the heating in winter. One of our fresh clean towels was stained with red lipstick, which was disgusting.. The sheets were okay, but cleanliness could be improved.

Cons: The staff at the front desk are not friendly. The water in the bathroom does not drain well, clogs are clogged. The TV doesn't work. You have to plug in your phone. The phone did not work, they said it's your problem. The room is small, the hotel is not worth the money

Pros: Location was near the centrum and also 10 minutes to walk to Bruges gare and bus station. Related to accommodation I only want to say that the bed was very comfortable and I think this is the only think I can say

Cons: The hotel is far from a 3 star hotel but for 1 night stay i presume is ok.

Cons: I didn't like that our room was ground-floor and we didn't have the option to open the window cuz there was big door instead and just near the street which didn't make us feel safe to open it during the night to be able to sleep .. the smell of carpet cleaning products was so strong Noise in the morning because one of the staff was throwing wood pieces from the Roof and hitting the ground.

Pros: I absolutely liked the treatment I got at the place, they welcomed me well and even upgraded my room for free. The room was cleaned daily and the facilities and everything seemed and felt clean. The wifi worked well, and it got hot water and every other essential thing I needed in the room (the working hair dryer and everything). As a woman traveling alone, I liked the facility and felt safe during my travel there.

Cons: The location is said to be very central. While this is true and it is indeed so close to the station, it's not a walkable distance. I know from the map it seems so but I tried to walk from the station to the hotel and it is not walkable. You are literally trying to walk where it connects with the busy road without lights and it doesn't work. I recommend taking the bus or the taxi (it cost me 10 euros).
