Pros: Location was excellent! Very clean. Rooftop bar to see both Alhambra and on opposite side can see Cathedral. Beds comfortable. Elenas to all floors. Nice breakfast. Eggs, cold cereal, pastries, coffee, juice and assortment breads.

Cons: Shower was open to room. No privacy.

Pros: THis is a small very modern hotel in the heat of the city on the narrow road that leads up to the lower gate of the Alhambra. Friendly knowledgeable staff who have good english and excellent breakfasts.

Cons: No view from the room but this is likely in a tight city. We were on floor 3; floor 4 may have views. We did not use the gym and only had a drink in the cafe.

Very enjoyable stay in Granada

Pros: Lovely hotel in a great location. We had an 'Alhambra view' room which had a small balcony, a great place to sit & watch the world go by in the street below. Lovely room, very fresh & clean, breakfast buffet was ok to good (decent coffee), team were on the whole really friendly, we only had a drink once in the bar on the roof top but a very nice spot. The hotel is in a great location, not very far to walk to the Alhambra & is very central for everything else. We really enjoyed our stay here.

I recommend, just know your options.

Pros: Location and rooftop restaurant and bar.

Cons: They dont start breakfast til 8:00. For those needing g to leave early or tour the Alhambra this is s problem. They wouldnt even allow us to get a cup of coffee.

Pros: Everything was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent, and the overall hotel was very nice.

Convenient location

Pros: Perfectly located for the Alhambra and to access the rest of Grenada. No car access, but parking at El Violon was easy, good sized spaces and 20 minutes walk to hotel. Small reduction in parking fee available through the hotel.

Great location

Pros: Modern hotel conveniently located near the Alhambra. Room was small but spotlessly clean with a super comfortable bed.

Beautiful hotel within walking distance of the Alhambra.

Pros: Location for visiting the Alhambra is amazing - you just keep walking up the hill from the hotel. You can even see it from the hotel restaurant.

Cons: Granada feels very busy and touristy - it felt like the staff were at the end of a very long season.

Pros: Comfy beds. Fantastic shower. Very private patio for smokers. Lovely terrace bar with great views of the Alhambra, reasonable food and great service.

Cons: Terrace bar doesn't close till 12 and although rooms are soundproof the windows are not so rooms with courtyard view are noisy. It is quite a steep climb up to the hotel - en route to the Alhambra.

Good place to stay

Pros: The spacious room was comfortable and well appointed. The location was close to the major attractions.

Cons: At check in our visa card didn't work for payment because I hadn't informed visa that we we're travelling so Visa security had blocked the transaction. My crappy sim card wasn't allowing me to call Visas' 800 number in Canada. I was quite stressed at this point and asked the front desk if I could use their phone to call. The gentleman at the front desk wouldn't allow it as he it would cost the hotel. It was a toll free number. Later he suggested we use our room phone and pay for it on checkout, fair enough. In the end I used my partners cell phone to make the call activating roaming charges. Just to say although this was no fault of the hotel or staff, I just felt the front desk fellow came across as unfriendly. On our last day we had to checkout early so asked for a picnic breakfast to take away as we had paid for breakfasts. We we're given the lunch, but at the bus station saw there was only one, not two lunches. We appreciate the email we got later from the hotel apologizing for this mistake. We paid I believe about 30 euros for this soggy sandwich, an apple, juice box and bottle of water. I think we should get a refund for that days breakfast. The rest of the staff we found very helpful and friendly and overall enjoyed our stay.

Okay but would not return, other than to rooftop.

Pros: The rooftop and location are brilliant.

Cons: The staff were not friendly. The breakfast was more lukewarm a hostel. The beds were too hard & looked very old.. should have mattress protectors, and mould in bathroom. The hotel had a facade of being three star but our room was not very nice.
