A fabulous old style hotel in a great location.

Pros: Possibly the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. Staff too are awesome. The hotel is a little dated, but that pales into insignificance when you take into account the other factors.

Great stay in Calella Palafrugell

Pros: Hotel exceptionally clean, roomy apartment, fantastic breakfast.( I couldnt find English breakfast tea!)different delicacies available every day, someone in the kitchen knows what theyre doing! Safe in room, clean towels daily sheets changed daily. Beach/pool towels provided. Paid parking 10 a day in September. Swimming pool & plenty of sun beds ( we didnt use it preferring sea swimming) Close to numerous restaurants and nearest beach about 300 yards.

Pros: Clean, friendly, cosy, great value for money, 4 minutes walk to the beach, nice swimming pool. The breakfasts were various and delicious, every single day there was something new. I loved it! Thank you, hotel Port-Bo!

Cons: Extra costs for parking on-site! The reception staff although nice were not very forth coming and didn't seem very knowledgeable about local attractions or services?

A gem of a hotel...fabulous

Pros: Hotel Port Bo is so well run by what appears to be a handful of hardworking people. The hotel is very comfortable with a really nice pool area. The breakfasts are sublime ..really 5 star! But the most impressive part is the service with a smile attitude of the staff. In particular we had the most wonderful housekeeping staff. We were in Room 231...so I hope someone knows who we are referring to. Also the dining room is run by the most exceptional pair of women who ooze charm and good service. This is really a lovely place to stay. Thank you.

Beyond expectation for a 3* hotel.

Pros: Breakfast was amazing. Best we have experienced anywhere. Pool with the various jets and bubbles was great too. 5 mins walk to beach and town restaurants and shops.

Pros: This was a second visit and we will for sure visit again. Very clean rooms serviced daily, really an excellent breakfast with so many options and very friendly staff.

Cons: If you are expecting 5 star luxury this is not for you. The rooms and hotel is generally a little outdated but perfectly clean and comfortable and offers excellent value for money we love it and would have no hesitation to highly recommend it.

A hotel in a great location with a lovely pool area & fabulous breakfast.

Pros: The breakfast was absolutely wonderful & one of the best I have ever had. There was so much choice & everything was homemade. One could have cooked breakfast on demand but there was so much to choose from on the buffet & it differed every day. Amazing! The pool area was well looked after & the pool itself was lovely. Our room was light & airy with a nice balcony. The hotel was well placed for getting into Calella with its bars & restaurants. There was a fridge in our room which was very useful.

Cons: The bathroom was tiny with a poor spray shower & fairly cheap toilet. Also the towels were thin & not very good. It was definitely 1 or 2* standard & not 3* bathroom which was disappointing. The bedroom had been newly painted but the furniture was very cheap & not particularly comfortable. The toiletries consisted of one shower cap & a shoeshine sponge in 4 days! The soap & shampoo dispenser was worn & tacky. There were no tea or coffee facilities in the room & we were told there was a mini bar (clearly stated on the room details) which there was not. There was a coffee machine with plastic cups in the reception area but the coffee was truly disgusting! No one seemed to use the communal areas - perhaps because there were no coffee or water facilities etc.

Wonderful stay, in a fabulous little hotel in the centre of town.

Pros: Fab little hotel in a great location only a few steps away from shops, restaurants and all the beaches of Calella. The staff were all incredibly helpful and very welcoming. Rooms were comfortable and cool. Our room overlooked the pool which was ideal for them children. Rooms were cleaned beautifully every day. Pool towels were provided free of charge which was very useful. The breakfast was exceptional, so much selection, and new additions everyday. As good as weve had in Spain. The breakfast staff were very attentive, especially the lady who greeted everyone each morning with a wonderful welcome. You should definitely book to stay here. I wish we couldve stayed longer.
