Pros: The room was a good size and the staff were friendly.

Cons: With it being near the train you could hear the trains from early hours in the morning.

Pros: This hotel is about a 3 minute walk from the west exit of Asakusabashi Station - you can't beat the location! We had an upgrade for a city view, and it was pretty decent. The lobby staff was so helpful with getting our luggage forwarded to our next hotel and helping with laundry. The room was a decent size, too.

Cons: Business hotel bathrooms are never my favorite, but this felt more cramped than usual. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever slept on. The hallways were dark and dirty and overall uninviting.

Cons: The duvet was not properly fixed. Bathroom kinda stinky. The housekeeper and her boss was so insistent in cleaning even when we said do not disturb. Reception friendly. Washer good, dryer took too much time. Love that its connected to Lawson.

Cons: This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I'm not picky about hotels, I see them as a base when I'm on holiday, I explore a lot. That's until I stayed here! I stayed in 3 (4, because I had to book another as this was so bad) on my visit to Japan this time. It's my second time visiting and I'm used to the size and general quality for what you pay. The pictures do not match the room - I wasn't expecting much, but a lot of the surfaces are chipped. The bathroom is extremely dated. The window doesn't open. Yes, it has a dehumidifier/air conditioning unit but that isn't necessarily a good thing. I can live with that however. What I could not live with is how dirty the room is. It probably hasn't had a clean besides a basic vaccuum and tidying up if the surface/changing sheets in years. I had several issues: 1. The duvet cover had blood stains. Not insignificant, so I'm sure they would have noticed them. I have since read other reviews and realised this is not the first time. 2. The air quality, due to the sheer amount of dust everywhere, was awful. I've never been affected by bad air quality before. I'm from London, air quality is generally awful here, but staying 2 nights in this hotel made me sick. You can physically see layers of dust that have just never been cleaned along so many surfaces in the room. After 2 days I started to get sick and had to pay for another hotel. I got a bad chest infection, which I have never had before, and couldn't do anything for the last portion of my trip. I'm still trying to recover from it over a week later. I've never rebooked a hotel on a trip before, even if the room wasn't ideal. This room was awful. My partner was also affected, though not as badly as me. 3. The soundproofing is awful, but I can live with it. 4. The bed is small, the pillows were awful but again, I can live with it. 5.
