    Great value for money at good location.

    Pros: The location of the place is excellent, close both to the main station and to the city center. The staff is nice and helpful. Both the room and the bathroom is spacious.
    Cons: There could have been a wider selection of breakfast and the cleanliness can be imporved. We haven't had any major issues.

    We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Monica and would consider returning on another trip to Florence

    Pros: The location of Hotel Monica is fantastic if you want to explore the city. We walked everywhere from the hotel daily. Our room was basic but met all our requirements and the aircon excellent to keep the mosquitoes at bay. The breakfast was very generous including yoghurts, a choice of cereal, fresh fruit, croissants, ham, cheese, orange juice, bread, honey/jam/marmalade coffee, tea and we enjoyed this on the beautiful courtyard terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
    Cons: We stayed in room 27 and our ensuite had nowhere to hang our wet towels overnight. This was disappointing as we had to either hang over shower or leave folded on stool or bidet which meant they didn't dry for the morning.

    A great hotel close to the center of Florence

    Pros: The hotel is located in a typical Florentine building. Located near the center of Florence. Renovated bathroom and large comfortable beds, air conditioners are maintained and working at max. Very clean. Standard breakfast, plentiful, fresh and tasty. It is a real pleasure to enjoy a coffee with a croissant in the morning on the terrace. The staff is friendly, check-in takes place at the reception in the neighboring hotel, which is by no means complicated. We received accurate and timely directions, which we appreciate!

    Pros: Great location! Closed to all the main attractions and the train station. Comfortable beds, new bathroom. Great breakfast!
