Lovely hotel in a stunning location steeped in history

Pros: Lovely small quiet hotel, within the monastery grounds, positioned on top of a hill with stunning views of Prague. The staff were friendly, welcoming, very helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. We had an exceptionally clean large first floor room with all the amenities we needed and superb views of the city. Huge double bed and sofa with separate toilet and shower rooms. Buffet Breakfast included delicious options to cater for everyone's tastes. We didn't realise it was on top of a steep hill, if you are coming by foot from the city centre, we would recommend getting the no: 22 tram from Malostranska to Pohorelec We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will rebook again.

Pros: We had a very pleasant stay at the Monastery Hotel. The location is great - I spent quite some time just looking through the window at the city's panorama. It was also nice to be so close to the castle, and the neighbourhood was extremely quiet. Pretty good choice for breakfast. The room was warm and very clean. We asked for a transfer from the airport as we were coming in the evening on Christmas eve and it was swiftly arranged.

Cons: The walls between rooms are quite thin. For 2 nights we could hear people in the neighbouring room quite well (but they were also rather noisy...). The room was not the biggest, so we could only sit on bed.
