Pros: Spacious and well-equipped room in quiet location (bar across the road turned off the music at 10pm on the dot, as they are no doubt obliged to do) - ultra-modern bathroom - stunning view of Mt Blanc on one side and Aiguille Verte on the other - ample breakfast in pleasant breakfast room - friendly lady at reception who was very efficient in making and communicating arrangements for picking up the key after reception had closed (I arrived later in the evening).

Cons: The "double bed" was actually two single beds pushed together, just joined by double-size bedding - not as comfy as a genuine double bed. The restaurant was closed since the summer season was over (though this was clearly communicated on Booking.com) and dinner options in the immediate area (a few km from the centre of Chamonix) were limited. And some tea/coffee making facilities would have been nice ...

I would be happy to return.

Pros: Parking just outside the hotel. No probelms with breakfast. A good view of Mont Blanc. The hotel restaurant was closed, but there was an excellent restaurant nearby.

Cons: No reception when we arrived before 10pm, although I was able to obtain access with no difficulty. Unfortunately, a bit far from the centre of Chamonix.

I would not stay in this hotel again and do not recommend it.

Pros: Room was clean

Cons: We booked our room on Booking.com and were upgraded to a superior double room. This was confirmed in the confirmation email. We arrived at 4:30 pm after reception closed at 4 pm. We picked up the envelope at the reception as instructed and went to the room. The room was a standard room with a single bed for one person. I called the hotels number and explained the situation to the staff person. She did not apologise for the mistake or inconvenience but told me to come to reception an we would be given another room. At reception, she said that we had booked a standard room. We had to show her the confirmation email from Booking.com regarding the upgrade. She gave us a room on the 3rd floor with low ceilings where you bumped your head in 1/3 of the room. When we asked if this was a Superior room, she gave us keys to a Standard attic room up the stairs past the 4th floor. We stayed in the room on the 3rd floor. The breakfast selections were very minimal and not replenished.

Pros: The room was reasonably spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel as a good vibe and the bar and restaurant enjoyed a good atmosphere. Excellent parking right outside the hotel. Check in and check out very efficient

Wonderful

Great week long stay at Hotel Les Lanchers

Pros: Great location with easy access to Chamonix town centre by bus or by 15 min walk along river. Room was comfortable and clean. Bar, restaurant and food was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Small supermarket a few doors up and small bar (Le Petit Social) and newsagent across the road.
