Pros: close to JR station and super market around the hotel. very comfortable and you can keep your luggage before check-in time.

Cons: stay with family 6 persons but only 1 bathroom. spend a lot of time for waiting when use bathroom.

Pros: Great location in Shinjuku. Air conditioner worked great. Staff was present and helpful whenever needed. Shoe lockers were nice. Deep soaking tub and shower worked fine. Closet space was great for storing my belongings.

Cons: I don't believe we received sheets for our futons.

Pros: Amazing location, great value, spacious room, kitchen in room. Staff had fantastic english and were very helpful. I didn't realise what a good deal i had when i booked it. Would spend all my time in tokyo here next time.

Pros: This hotel is very minimalistic. It has all the facilities you need for your stay. Helpful staff, well kept rooms, fresh towels every day when we were there. No beds though but then again, your in Japan. Futon mats are provided along with a pillow and a blanket. Just to be honest, The nights were kind of long for me because of my aching back and shoulder not having a comfy bed did not help. probably the only "con" I can think of for the place. We didn't spend a lot of time in the room so it didn't really matter. (Tip: fold the end of the mat to form a fold that can serve as a pillow and use the pillow on top of it to support your head much better and lay on your back as oppose to laying on your side. Trust me, your shoulder will thank you for it. If you are provided with an extra futon mat even better, just double it to give you that extra cushion.) The best thing about the place was being able to get a HOT SHOWER! Water pressure was excellent too! And the toilet were normal. Ref w/ freezer, microwave, blow dryer and pans, pots dishes, bowls, utensils provided. Great location. Just a 10 minute walk to the train station which we used every time. No need for a car unless you are wanting to visit places outside of the cities. The city life here is just crazy fun especially if you like people watching. I've never seen so many people out and about in the cities in my entire life. Shibuya, one of our city stops, is just insane! In a good way though. This is the city that has that cross walk that every body uses coming from different angles. Definitely an Experience in itself. Some many small "hole in the wall" type restaurants you can go to. Also a Mcdonalds, Burger King, an arcade for the kids. Pharmacy, small hardware store, clothing shops, groceries, a coin operated laundromat other services as well. Most importantly we found the area and surrounding cities generally safe. A great walking community for sure. We love Japan!

Pros: hotel Hanabi is in the middle if JB and JY line. Super easy to access to shops, restaurants and JR lines.

When we come to Tokyo, we always stay here :)

Pros: Comfortable transportation. Only one stop to Shinjuku. It's not far from the station. Their have a elevator inside and we always stayed at the 1st floor which we think it's so convenience.

Cons: For many luggages in the group room, it quite tight in your room if you stay in the 7 people room but for 9 people room is fit.

Cons: Not clean. Blanket was stained with blood. The staff didnt offer to change and doesnt understand English at all to change until I insisted. Towel had bad smell. The staff was not friendly.

Pros: Was minimal, and just what I needed. Close to work and nice Indian stores. As soon as I complained the one worker there did all he could to clean up.

Cons: The vents were disgustingly dusty, the AC was filled with dust and mold. The worker there tried his best but I still got really bad allergies every time I turned on the AC (and it's so hot and humid you can't really sleep without)...

Pros: Location is very good surrounding with all convenient store and restaurants.

Cons: The room very tidy even a toilet is deem small. Room decorating is very old and also air conditioner isn't cool enough. The ventilation is not good enough. it smells bad of the tatami.

Cons: We booked the room for 3 people and it was too small in my taste, but that's on us. I would recommend it for 2 people though!
