    Best start to my trip! Lovely staff!

    Pros: It all starts in the outside, it was beautiful. They had some nice greenery and when you go inside you are greeted by very nice staff. Everything was clean, there was a very big lounge area with a big kitchen. The beds were nice and the shower/toilet were also good. I did not try the food, but the little restaurant looked cozy and it smelled good. The staff were really nice, they showed interest and helped with everything they could. I could leave my bags before check-in and after check-out to go out and explore. It is really close to Ueno park and Ueno zoo and the neighborhood is so beautiful. I love the small streets with the small houses, all of them different, all of them beautiful. Im very happy to have started my journey through Japan in this nice Hotel.

    Big rooms and convinent.

    Pros: The big rooms, being close to Ueno and their breakfast.
    Cons: My room was right by the smoking balcony, so I could often smell the smoke into my room. Also, the cleaning of the room wasnt very good. They only cleaned every thrid or fourth day, which is fine, but Im not sure how often they actually changed my sheets. I found out at least once they did not change my sheets.
