Exceptional

Pros: It's a very historic hotel, there are displays all over the lobby and in the hallways with memorabilia from various people in Mexican history. Staff were very accomidating.

Cons: The only downside I'd say is the Zona Rosa is VERY busy at night, if you want nightlife that's great but it was too much for me. The hotel does have 'quiet rooms' if you ask.

Pros: Location is very good, the lobby is really beautiful and surely it was a landmark back then. Price was very good too for a 5 star hotel

Cons: Room smelled old and tobacco smell was coming from the aircon pipes too. Bathroom was old and not very well taken care of. Room was crooked too and the walls were thin enough to hear everything from next door. Pillow selection was very poor too - all these things should not be a problem per se, but when considering a 5-star hotel it's not definitely what you would be expecting

Pros: The hotel Lobby is very grand. It has lots of portraits and artwork and must be more than 100 years old. The Concierge and Front Desk staff were great. Housekeeping was very good too.

Cons: The rooms have seen better days but are still comfortable and the beds were very comfortable. Overall, I would definitely stay here again when I am in Mexico City

Pros: Historic center, the lobby is a museum, really nice decor and atmosphere, clean bedsheets and towels, the location is amazing

Cons: We were 2 people and they kept providing us room items only for 2 we had to keep asking for towels and shower gels, the beds and pillows are extremely old and uncomfortable and the room itself much smaller compared to the photos, the shower kept leaking water outside the bathtub which means the 1x1 bathroom was constantly flooded with water and the water in the bathtub was also filling up which we find disgusting, all in all apart from looking good the accommodation is way overpriced and non functional, no value for money here and can't recommend it

Convenient location but both property & standard amenities could use an update

Pros: Great location. Convenient to get to different parts of the city. Beds were comfortable.

Cons: Toiletry amenities were pretty sad. Shampoo was awful, no conditioner provided, body lotion was never replenished. Towels are old & tired. Oddly the refrigerator in the room is locked. On Friday & Saturday nights, the neighborhood stays active & loud for hours despite the windows being closed.

Pros: Beautiful building, most staff were very nice and friendly. Great location!

Cons: Communication between staff was poor at times, it was my birthday stay but nothing was arranged from the hotel which was quite surprising for a 5 star hotel.
