    Great location and view

    Pros: Great location with a lovely view to El Escorial. We upgraded to the junior suite which gave us plenty of room and a spa bath that looked out to the view. We were lucky to get a car park over the road.
    Cons: There was no kettle I. The room to make a cup of tea. It was a bit dated but that didnt bother us at all.

    Pros: The junior suite was huge!!! It was so comfortable and the views were incredible! As a family of 4, we were very comfortable staying there and the staff were wonderful! Id definitely recommend this hotel!

    Lovely hotel in a great location, but skip the breakfast.

    Pros: This is a lovely hotel in a great location near to the monastery and the walks. It is quiet at night. The staff were friendly and helpful.
    Cons: I opted for breakfast, which was really not worth the long wait to be served. It seemed at odds with how the hotel was.

    Pros: The staff was super friendly and attentive. Great communication, as they let us know in advance that due to local festivities we could have some issues with noise, since the hotel is right across the monastery (where they set up concerts). Excellent location, good cost per value. Shout out to the night staff!

    Clean and comfortable with a great location, although a little pricey.

    Pros: Excellent location right in the centre of El Escorial; our room had a view of the monastery, which was lovely. We didn't have the breakfast so can't comment on that.
    Cons: No facilities in the room for making a hot drink. (However, this is quite usual for Spain). A little over-priced. The hotel has a slightly dated feel about it, although not a problem as such. Parking tricky as we didn't want to pay the costly rates of the nearby NCP-equivalent; however, we found free parking the other side of the monastery. (Parking spaces demarked with white lines, not blue).

    Pros: Hotel was fine, but breakfast did not start until 9am - so we used the cafe's in the square. Very good. The rooms were a bit old and tired, with thin walls, but fully operational.
    Cons: The hotel didn't do any noticeable catering.

    Pros: Location was very central, with cafes and bars around. Easy parking close to the accommodation

    Great location, though tired fabric of the hotel.

    Pros: Great location, tired hotel needs money spending on it. Breakfast does not start until 9 - no good as we played golf each day and had to go into town (500 yards away) for breakfast. large enough bedroom. Not very high quality - but adequate.
    Cons: Bathroom has been re-sealed several times. It needs re-making completely. Bed mediocre. The room has air conditioning I did not test out.
