Pros: The complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing, we ate it every day. The location is convenient, close to all the restaurants in Condesa.

Cons: No one T the front desk seemed to be aware that there is an airport shuttle mentioned on the listing, and thought that I was asking them to call a taxi for me.

Pros: The location is great, in the heart of the Escandon neighbourhood, close to main avenues, public transport (metrobus and metro Patriotismo), and walking distance from Condesa and Roma. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well equipped. Staff is kind and in general very helpful. Generous breakfast.

Cons: Hotel's boiler doesn't let you sleep. Disappointing client service. This was my hotel to go in Mexico City, until my last stay there. We were given room 412 (4th floor), located right under the hotel’s boiler (la “caldera”), which, unbeknownst to us, makes a roaring sound each time it's activated. The boiler went off several times during the one night we spent there and it completely ruined our sleep ahead of our flight the next day. The first time, we were woken up abruptly at about 1.00 am. It was quite a scare and we thought it was some sort of alarm, but the sound was rather mechanical and stopped after a minute or so. We were exhausted, assumed it was a one-off, and went back to bed, only to be woken up again by the same sound at 6.00 am. This time I recorded the sound and called the reception desk to report it. They told me it was likely the elevators, which were close to our room and could be malfunctioning, so they'd have them checked. The noise came back at 6.20 am and at 9.00 am. I realised it didn't come from outside, but from above our bathroom. Upon check out, we showed the recording to the receptionist and explained that the noise had woken us up several times, positively ruining our night. We asked for a refund. She took note of our claim and said she'd discuss it with the hotel manager, who wasn't around but would get in touch with us within the next three days. The manager didn't reach out. A week after the incident, I wrote to Kali via Booking to follow up on our claim. The hotel said no refund (partial or complete) could be made because we had used Booking. Instead, they offered us a 10% discount on our next stay provided we booked directly through their website... There won't be a next stay for us.

Pros: Comfortable and a very nice breakfast.

Cons: I would have liked to be closer to the Condesa neighborhood but it was an easy walk to get to the parks and nice restaurants.
