    I am a loyal Elizabethpark customer and have stayed many times. It has such tremendous potential.

    Pros: Thermal bath, period features of the hotel.
    Cons: rooms need updating, with care, this is a cracking opportunity for a Soho House style hotel, the infrastructure is made for it. Breakfast was a bit haphazard.

    Excellent stays in a historic place. For me it was perfect.

    Pros: I loved how huge the property was, including the long walk down scenic hallways especially to the fitness areas. The view from the room was incredible with the huge windows opening up to the mountains. The sauna and pool areas were absolutely fanastic. Right in the middle of Bad Gastein just up the street from the waterfall too.
    Cons: Zero complaints.

    Old Europe style lodging and polite staff for an unbeatable price, no complaints.

    Pros: Location is great near the waterfall. The thermal pool + saunas downstairs are a very nice plus as they are included in the price. It is easy to imagine the years when this hotel was new and in the prime of its life. Friendly staff, chandeliers in dining room and lobby bar, etc. Breakfast coffee is served to your table under chandeliers, its hard to beat this for the price I paid. (In fact, its still hard to believe the price to hotel ratio of my deal). There was a wonderful view of the mountains and central Badgastein from my single room. The room was okay and cleaning service does its job.
    Cons: The hotel is a bit worn down, but this is to be expected when you look at the price tag. Bed could have been more comfortable In early June, this was perfect, but I can imagine the room could be too cold or too hot on winter/summer.

    Pros: Large room and bathroom, excellent view over the historic centre, a nice pool area, a decent breakfast.
    Cons: The hotel is rather old, but we'll maintained. Sauna was only open for a few hours every day, didn't get to use it.

    Pros: Excellent location, near the waterfall but not too close that the noise will interfere. SPA is excellent as well
    Cons: The bathroom is ancient and needs renovation asap, the rest of the facilities are old - but it has some magic in it. Need a place to dry wet clothing and shoes.
