    Clean but would not stay there again.

    Cons: The hotel was very cramped. The room was unattractive and very small.

    With improvements to reception and hallways,a very good place to stay

    Pros: The cleanliness was exceptional. Location great. Reception could do with brightening up, a tad dark and unwelcoming . The carpets need updating . There should be a tip box for the cleaners . I booked Booking .com 78 per night but then charged 450euros I was then given a discount as I had asked for one ,but it spoilt the stay as I was expecting a bill of around 300. Front desk always pleasant and friendly. I will stay there again, if the prices are more open .Book through their website NOT Booking.com . Air conditioning was really good as it was very hot!! not too cold either, just perfect
    Cons: The darkness of the hallways and reception.

    Small rooms but quite adequate

    Pros: I had read the reviews and was prepared for it to be rather noisy but was pleasantly surprised that on a weekend the noise was minimal from the street and ended at a reasonable time. The room was small but adequate. The price was reasonable and it was very close to the Metro. Staff were very friendly and helpful and I left my bags there before I checked in and also on the day I checked out.

    Great location, but too much money.

    Pros: The area and metro as well as receptionists were great.The shower was hot. Towels were changed each day.
    Cons: The shower flooded. And the rate on the last night 498 Euros on Thursday night was excessive. Given this was a two-star-hotel. The safe did not work and we had to ask for more loo paper. 1177.30 Euros for five days was prohibitive. There was nothing on on Friday. So there seemed no reason for the Thursday night charge.

    Pros: They managed to fit a lift in a sq meter, they apologize for its size but I just think it's genious I asked for a rear facing room and got one The area has flourished, you don't even need to cross to le Marais, le Marais has come to you!
    Cons: While there are blackout curtains they are not very effective as they are quite far from the window

    Cons: hotel forced me double pay, one time when i book with my bank account and one time when i check in with cash. when i pay with cash they said the money i pay with bank account will come back when i check out, but I never see the money.

    Nice place. I would always try to reserve here .

    Pros: My second stay at Hotel Daval. Location and staff are nice. Neighborhood has good food. It is convenient to busses and metro. Several outdoor markets around.
    Cons: Floor was a little dusty.
