Great location considering the price with very friendly staff. The cleaning could be a lot better in the bathroom.

Pros: Location and staff was great

Cons: The shower had non slip grip that felt dirty and gathered dirt. I didnt feel very comfortable showering as it felt a bit grimy. Same with the bathroom window and doors. They were full of dirt like they havent been cleaned in a while. We also had a bright light in our room from the construction site next door all night shining into our room. We managed to sleep but unfortunately the curtains dont black out close all the way so we could never have a dark room.

Its an ok hotel in a good area.

Pros: Location. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Good AC and good breakfast

Cons: Hallways although clean had old worn carpet. Bathroom toilets were old. You could hear every time someone on the top floor flushed the toilet. The showers didnt get hot enough. Asked for a remise to the airport and when we went to the lobby in the early morning there was a taxi waiting for us. I told the clerk I had paid them $30 for a remise which is more comfortable and safe. The clerk just said they work with a taxi company and thats what they get. This was not communicated to me the night before when I asked and paid them for a remise. No apology was given and I was not happy about that.

Great hotel in Palermo!

Pros: I liked the vibe of the hotel, artistic and antique. The rooms were nice and clean and we both really liked the breakfast. The hosts were super friendly and helpful and gave us a lot of useful tips! The location was really nice. There are lots of bars and restaurants around. You need to walk a bit for the subway or train or hop on hop off bus, but we love walking. A taxi or uber is an easy option as well and if you have a blue card then you can take the bus around the corner. Tip: go to the fish restaurant across the hotel.

Pros: A lovely, quirky shabby chic boutique hotel with some fabulous interior decor. The front reception staff are absolutely fabulous: very welcoming, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. I found the room spacious, clean and comfortable.

Cons: The mossies attacked me when i when out for dinner! The hotel could do with a bit of TLC and the buffet breakfast is very carb heavy but they're both small things.

Pros: Friendly helpful from the kitchen to front desk. Frederico really helpful. Breakfast is good and location great for shops and bars of Palermo/Soho. The Pescatoria restaurant across the street is very good.

Cons: Room was comfortable and clean but the hotel could probably do with a make over, but still has an old world charm (parquet floors etc).

Loud Construction JACKHAMMING next to this hotel-beware Jan 2024

Pros: The front desk staff is bilingual english /spanish and super friendly and helpful with any questions. There is a small lift which makes going to the upper floors convenient with luggage. The bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Water pressure good. Location great for restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops. A pretty boutique hotel.

Cons: This property is touching another property that is currently undergoing construction. They are still working /constructing the ground floor and basement of this large property Jan 2024. There were jackhammers and drills and power tools and hammering ALL DAY LONG! The noise stopped around 6pm and even though front desk told us there wouldnt be construction noise on the weekend, we woke up Saturday to some workers hammering away. OMG it was so loud and not relaxing. I know this isnt the hotels fault-that TWO buildings near them are undergoing construction -but I wish I knew that before booking.(photo of building across street but also there is a building next door under construction) The other unsettling thing was the amount of fruit flys around the breakfast breads. The women hosting the breakfast were sweet, but obviously couldnt rid the food of the tiny flies everywhere. The breakfast spread was average.

Pros: Staff was good to pack our breakfast for to go as we had an early flight. Location was good. At the time of check in, there was no elevator service, we had to walk to 4th floor. staff helped with lifting luggage. Facilities in the room (toilet, faucet, etc.) are not placed in a convenient way.

It was only for 2 nights so it worked out ok

Pros: The location was nice and the staff were helpful and the breakfast was very nice as well. the rustic look of the property was appealing. And the elevator had moving pictures which was cool

Cons: It needs some major TCL. It looks as if no one is doing any upkeep. The flowers on balconies and common areas were all dead and un kept. The rooftop was a real disappointment only a couple of rusted chairs and /or broken and dirty ones. The ep lounge chairs were very nasty. Also the elevator was broken to the top floor so from 4-5 you had to use the stairs
