Pros: The hotel is close to the metro. It looks very impressive on approach, Art Deco feel, very smart and clean. Reception staff bi-lingual and very friendly and welcoming. Room was a good size for Paris, very clean and comfortable with a very comfy bed.

A very comfortable, safe, welcoming hotel in an excellent location.

Pros: We felt totally at home in Hotel Charlemagne. We arrived on the first day quite late (approx. 11:30pm). The staff member at reception was very kind and welcoming. It was my first visit to Paris and I felt safe, secure and comfortable at this hotel. The room was cosy, spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. We walked a lot on our visit to this beautiful city, and we were always very glad to return to this lovely comfortable room each night!! The Pont de Neuilly station on Paris Metro Line 1, is very close by and takes you right into the heart of the city in minutes. We felt safe walking around the neighbourhood at night time. There are great cafs and restaurants near the hotel. The price of our stay was very competitive and more reasonable than other places we looked at that, which had inferior accommodation. I would highly recommend this hotel to people looking to book a place to stay in Paris. Thank you to all at Hotel Charlemagne.

Pros: The location is excellent. Good welcome. The shower had great power and hot water.

Cons: Breakfast (14 euros) was just okay, nothing much to speak of. The beds are very hard, and head pillows very thick, not a comfortable sleep unless you're a back sleeper. Tiny bathroom. The walls are thin, you can hear your neighbors at times.

Perfect small hotel in a quiet location around the corner from the Metro..

Pros: The room was typically small for Paris with a tiny bathroom with just a shower, toilet and basin squeezed in. It is very much a basic hotel (dont expect fluffy towels, shampoo, bottles of water, etc.) but it was spotlessly clean. It was quiet and in a great location. The staff were delightful and it was exactly what we wanted.

Cons: There was absolutely nothing available for breakfast if you are gluten free.

Cozy hotel in a quiet neighborhood in the 16th arrondissment

Pros: It was a cozy small room sufficient for a one-night stay. Good location and friendly staff. The beIN SPORTS channel was good. I came to watch the American Super Bowl because the hotel I was staying in did not provide this channel.

Cons: The rooms were very small, and one must be mindful to not hit the cabinet above the bed. Also there were beer bottles in the mini fridge but no way to open them.
