Cons: Dark and depressing. Doesnt correspond to pictures. Facilities promised not available. Very rude staff. Food poisoning after breakfast.

Pros: Excellent hotel on huge property with beautiful garden ans swimming pool area. Everything was great. Spacious and nicely furnished suite with private sauna. Very good breakfast and Friendly staff. Well recommended!

Cons: I only wish the spa opening hours would be different so it would open sooner and close later.

Pros: The hotel is lovely. It's outside of the main attraction areas but that was fine for us. The pool is brand new and wonderful. The staff were lovely and the food great. The rooms are quite small but for the money I think it was fine and its not really a place you stay in the room a lot. Good aircon!

Pros: The hotel and the surrounding gardens were well looked after.

Cons: The rooms hidden in a corner with no real window. The beds were comfortable,and the bathroom good,but the lack of windows was a large down point.

Cons: A very bad experience. Having travelled a lot, in all parts of the world, over decades this hotel captures first place as the worst hotel evaluated by "value for money". I never spend time on evaluating hotels after a stay but this time I simply feel that I have to do it.. The place was completely full of wedding guests and the party completely overtook all areas including the courtyard, the garden, the lobby. At the pool a very noisy low hanging drone flew around and probably recorded the wedding from above. We had reserved a table in the Le Cru restaurant but because of the wedding we were escorted out of the restaurant and to a table next to the pool where they were serving instead. It was a long walk for the waiters from the kitchen in Le Cru down to the pool and the food got cold before being served. The waiters seemed very inexperienced and for the first time in my life we had to ask an astonishing FOUR times to get a coke for our son (we have three kids, ordered three cokes, they brought us two and we asked for one more). The fourth time we asked the waiter started running across garden towards the Le Cru restaurant and managed to get back with the coke just as we finished the main course. From the hotels side its completely inappropriate to arrange weddings at the same time as guests can book rooms. We are sharing the same facilities and it just doesn't work. I have never experienced anything like this before and I will not in a million years consider going back

Cons: Location is nice for meetings, events, celebrations. Families with children and couples are prone to boredom. We booked a 3 nights stay in order to visit the Como Lake and because of the pool, because obviously summer = pool especially when you live in a 365 days rainy country. 5 days in advance they sent a message through booking.com informing the pool wasnt ready and our reservation was already non refundable. When I explained our disappointment upon checking they offered us a JS with sauna. Its kind, sweet and nice but who needs a sauna with 35 degrees outside. After the checkout they called us twice to offer a discount voucher for our next stay (we did not ask or complain for that), never received it. If you want to charge your hybrid car its 35 / charge. It was good but definitely not worth it when you pay an arm for 3 nights.

Pool is closed for construction

Pros: Beautiful hotel and very nice staff.

Cons: We were informed just a couple of days before our arrival that the pool was closed for reconstruction. When we arrived we noticed that they must have been working on the pool for some time so the original listing should have indicated this. We specifically were looking for accommodations with a pool. Once we were notified we were already in Italy and didnt want to spend our vacation searching for an alternative.

Pros: the location was what we were looking for, the property was lovely

Cons: there were two weddings and a major event while we were there, all on the same day and we couldn't walk around. the pool and spa weren't finished and won't be for many months.

Cons: the staff took us to our bedroom to show where it was, we carried our own bags, there always already someone in the room, then all the way back to reception, then they did exactly the same thing again, someone else in the room they tried to give us, virtually no apologies. they offered to upgrade us. I asked for a view, they said yes. The new room was nice, but view of parking and hedge. Dinner in their restaurant: what a joke, the local Rotary Club had booked the restaurant, so they attempted to continue the restaurant in the cellar banquet room, so 14 people rattled round what felt like a huge echoing chamber, like a village community hall, service was unfriendly and erratic, food was good in places (4 of us) but late and partly cold. breakfast is like something out of the 1970s, couldnt wait to leave.
