Superb hospitality and excellent location

Pros: The location was superb and the hospitality was amazing. All staffs were very friendly and responsive and made every effort to make our stay very comfortable. We were also impressed of In room dining. The taste was so good and well quality. We will certainly choose this hotel when visiting Paris next time.

Cons: The staff were horrible. The manager, Rafael, does not assume responsibility for anything or try to be solutions-oriented. We let him know that the wifi did not work in our room, and his response was to blame both our phones while showing me how his (which was connected to a French phone plan) was working just fine. How that is helpful, I really don’t know. The morning front desk attendant, Clara, acted as if she also could not care less about the issues with the room and was unhelpful. Even one of the bell men got into an elevator I’d also been waiting for and just closed the door without waiting for me to get in. Also, there is construction in the building next door on the Rivoli side which is active from 8am to 5pm on weekdays. Another unpleasant surprise was that there also was no AC in the winter months. Considering that Paris doesn’t get that cold, that made for uncomfortable nights. (And along with the wifi, two things promised in the building amenities that they did not deliver on) Also had limited toiletries such as no conditioner and only two in one soap/shampoo

Pros: The rooms are so comfortable and uniquely designed. The hotel is in a great location close to Concorde metro station and shops. There is a fantastic restaurant also opposite the hotel.
