Pros: Location , Staff and the overall hotel was Amazing

Cons: Since its located right in the heart of the shopping street with all the shops below it gets very loud and noisy at night often disturbing .. so for a light sleeper it's not the place to be. Otherwise, everything was perfect

FANTASTIC HOTEL IN THE HEART...

Pros: This hotel, in my opinion, is one of the best hotels in Florence. Located in the heart of city, within walking distance to all the major attractions in Florence and walking distance to just about everything else. Cleanliness was superb! The rooms are beautifully decorated, modern and new. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts each morning in the Breakfast Room were also outstanding. Many different items to choose from (eggs. bacon, sausage, croissants, oatmeal, cereal, fresh fruit, Italian sweets, juices, etc.) There is something to eat for everyone! I requested in my reservation a room on a higher floor, a room with a walk-in shower in the bathroom (no bathtub due to a knee issue I have) and, if possible, a room with views of The Duomo. They gave me EVERYTHING I requested. Our room was absolutely FABULOUS in every aspect! They are VERY meticulous in their daily cleaning, 2 times per day they come to clean your room, change out the towels to fresh towels, empty the garbages, etc. They also give you each evening 2 bottles of water, free of charge. Each evening, they come back to your room around 8pm to turn down the beds for you, leave you cozy slippers to wear and some delicious chocolates on your pillow. I really LOVED & ENJOYED this hotel. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again should I ever return to Florence, Italy for another vacation. The Front Desk Staff is extremely gracious and warm in welcoming you to their hotel and assisting you in any way that they can. If you are looking for a 4/5 star hotel in Florence, don't look any further. Book Hotel Calzaiuoli. You will not be disappointed.

Cons: On occasion, the bathroom would have what appeared to be a "sewer" odor. Nothing extreme. But, from time to time, when you would go inside to use the bathroom, you would get a whiff of a "sewer' odor. But, honestly, the odor was not there all the time, just on occasion you could smell it. But, nothing that would put a damper on the hotel room itself.

Quality and best location.

Pros: Location was perfect for all the main sights, with the cathedral and Uffizi less than 5 mins walk. Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was very good, primarily continental with lots of choices, but also some hot food and even prosecco! Hotel very comfortable, clean with good toiletries and provided complementary bottle of water every day. Very good value considering the quality and location.

Cons: The air con didn't seem to work although we didn't raise this with the hotel as it was March and wasn't really needed.

Pros: Breakfast was good, with a lot of choice, eggs, cheese, fruits, different breads, all types of coffee... The hotel is really very well located, great value for the money in Florence and the staff extremely polite and nice. Great service. The only issue is the noise coming from the street. I was awake on Monday at 6:50 am due to some workers on the street; there is a problem of lack of noise isolation. Sometimes can be an issue...

Amazing hotel with very kind...

Pros: The loved the staff. Everybody was super nice. Especially, I appreciated the ladies in charge of the breakfast who went extra mile. Habiba and her colleagues were extremely nice and helpful and cared so much for our little baby.

Cons: The room was slightly small but the rest was great.

Pros: Location, location, location! it is centrally located and walking distance to major attractions and plenty of great restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood. We got free upgrade (ended up in a room with lovely frescos) at time of check in which was a pleasant surprise! Front desk staff were friendly and very helpful

Visiting the great city of...

Pros: Location, location. A great location in the center of Florence. We arrived by car and had valet parking arranged for a fee through the hotel. Car was picked up on arrival and returned for our departure. Great service! Our room was beautiful and modern. Super comfy bed and very clean, quiet room. Elevator service makes things easy for your bags. Buffet breakfast was delightful and had a broad selection to include cook to order eggs. Staff were friendly, efficient and offered help finding restaurants and places of interest. A memorable stay in Florence.

Cons: We did not find any issues that we noted. However, if you are driving, be sure to check your parking options to find what suits your needs best. Good GPS will greatly help your arrival and departure if you are driving to the center of Florence.

Pros: The location is unmatched. Close to everything and very visible. Also the staff is amazing and so helpful.

Cons: The furniture is so outdated and had an awful weird smell to it to the point where we left the windows open when we left the hotel to decrease the smell. The room was cleaned daily but I guess it’s just so old. Especially the room couch\curtains\bed frames. It needs to be upgraded and replaced.
