Pros: This hotel is beautiful! I loved being dropped off at the front door by the Water Taxi! The breakfast each morning was great. The staff were very, very helpful. The room was decorated in a very Venetian style with silk wallpaper and matching drapes and bedspread, antiques and glass light fixtures. Our room was lovely, quiet, large and very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel in Venice.

Cons: Bathroom was a little small and hairdryer was not useful.

Pros: Breakfast was nice, room was nice very spacious. We had a small balcony to look out onto the canal. Short walk to all the restaurants and tourist parts.

Cons: Room was quite dark and the air conditioning wasnt the best as it was positioned by the door, okay for mild temperatures but in the early 30s it needs to be more powerful or closer to the bed

Above and beyond

Pros: Wonderful location! Somewhere in the reservation emails, I had mentioned that my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. When they showed us to our room, they had put a huge red heart on the bed made of separate rose petals. Cant imagine how long that took. So special!

Pros: Water taxi pulls up right at the door, clean rooms and staff were great, we had an early check out and staff organised a take away breakfast box to take with us. Very close to the Main Street also. All up amazing stay.

Pros: Excellent breakfast in the lobby - coffee made to order. Scrambled eggs from scratch not powder. And lots of pastries and other options.

Cons: The room doors definitely need a calmer so they don't bang when they close. They are far too noisy and interrupted our sleep every morning

Pros: The breakfast was lovely and the staff were really friendly. The room was really clean and a great location just off a great street for eating

Cons: The room had a set of stairs in it which were quite cumbersome, the AC wasnt that great and we werent that comfortable when returning to the hotel one evening to find our key was out on the counter with no one at the desk.

A fun stay in the Carnareggio district of Venice

Pros: The hotel arranged direct pick up from the airport (170 Euro, but just a water taxi would be 130, so this wasnt bad) that included a pickup with my name or a board, a short van ride to our water taxi. The water taxi brought us to the front steps in the Hotel. The hotel was very responsive to questions entered as messages on the booking.com portal. Everyone was very pleasant, helpful and spoke English (my italian is limited). The hotel is in the Carnareggio (northern) district, but close to bridges to the other districts. The hotel staff offered maps and suggestions for places to eat and things to see. Breakfast is included in the room rate. They have 3 "seatings" to keep it for being too busy. We tended towards the early (7:15) seating to get our cappuccino and grab some snacks before heading out for the day. We would leave around 8 am (you leave the keys with the front desk), walk around the city, come back during the hottest point of the day, then go out again later. The Junior suite was very large. King size bed, huge tub, standing shower, TV (which we didn't use). Incredibly tall ceilings, and views of one of the smaller canals helped to round out the room

Cons: Nothing, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful classic Venetian style hotel in a heart of Venice

Pros: The room was exactly how they described. We were very happy to stay in this beautiful Venetian classic decorated room. Walkable distance to the centre of the city as well as main station. There is water taxi wharf right front of the hotel. All the receptionist were super friendly and very helpful. We got lots of great recommendations from them.
