Comfortable rooms in a convenient...

Pros: A very hotel. Comfortable bed, a good shower, and a convenient fridge in the room. Very close to a great variety of restaurants and cafés. Grands Boulevard metro station is right around the corner, so you are well connected to the rest of the city.

Cons: Perhaps a little noisy at night, but this is to be expected in a busy city. Be sensible and pack earplugs.

Good location, horrible beds!

Pros: Good location to start wandering off into the city. Lots of nice shops, bars and restaurants in the vicinity. Metrostation is around the corner, so also tourist attractions further out can easily be reached.

Cons: Something we really disliked were the matrasses on the bed. They are completely worn out and really should be replaced. Sincerely hope the hotel takes this into consideration!

A quirky hotel in a...

Pros: As a first time traveller to Paris, the Hotel Bresil Opera was fabulous. Great location, lots of restaurants, close to Metro (we also walked from Gare du Nord with our luggage) and easy walking distance to neighbouring Arrondissements/sites (Sacre-Coeur, Moulin Rouge, The Louvre. The Hotel was very clean (good linen/towels), could swing a cat in the bathroom and the lift was a bonus.
