    Welcome to Hotel California. You can check in, but you can't get out

    Pros: There is no shuttle service to town where all the restaurants and shopping are. Remote location. 25 to 30 euro to go 300 meters a 5th of a mile. Insane. You have to really make your return taxi plans ahead and confirm. To get from Ravello to Sorrento 200 euro and we held our breath. We were turned down by multiple private taxi services because of the location. The hotel restaurant closes on Thursday and doesn't post a sign or advise guest. So you're on your own and have to walk into town for your dinner.
    Cons: Remote location. Walk up and the mountain to get to restaurants and shopping

    Disappointed with room for 2,3,4th nights. I appreciate we could have moved for extra money.

    Pros: Breakfast was ok .. service was ok, but reception staff very nice. Some areas of hotel/pool shabby. Room we moved to 2nd night (no 10) very disappointing- window above eye level, felt like being in a cellar.
    Cons: Breakfast .. no one around to explain juice etc. it would be nice if eggs were made to order as were dried up when precooked.

    Pros: The property was so close to absolutely everything, the staff where fantastic. The pictures dont do it justice it was an overall lovely place to stay.
    Cons: If you have kids who arent very strong swimmers the pool is extremely deep! The sun leaves the pool area around 4pm obviously at no fault to the hotel

    Charming hotel in Ravello with amazing views and staff!

    Pros: The hotel and room were spotlessly clean! Room was a bit on the smaller side, but the view from the balcony was spectacular. The staff was so awesome, they met every request that we had. Really made our stay in Ravello exceptional.

    Great location, great views - spacious and safe, pool a definite bonus.

    Pros: Breakfast was including in our room price, although not stated on booking.com. Crossaints, bacon, eggs, hot drinks and fruit juices - along with cold meats, cheese, fruits - buffet style. 90mins from airport - do the ferry there if you can, taxi back (welcome pickups is an app for taxis - quick, easy and reliable. The hotel itself is one small staircase and a 5 minute walk from the main square. You get a code to let yourself in if later in the evening (past midnight) - safe and secure. Convenient and fairly flat walk in comparison to the rest of Ravello. Close to bus stop (in Scala) - 5 min walk, which takes you to Ravello Beach or Amalfi Beach where you can get boats to anywhere! Clean and spacious room. Shower good, large hairdryer available and iron provided for our stay free of charge. I asked for an additional pillow at 11:30pm and was brought one immediately.
    Cons: Bathroom lights flashed the whole time - unable to use. No massage available at the hotel even though stated on website. You can't have your own drinks/ snacks around the pool. No safe in the room.
