Cons: The male receptionist on 14th Sep was very rude! He asked me while checkin if I wanted to opt for breakfast and I politely said no as its not what i prefer, but then he went on a tirade on how some tourist like to travel cheap and hotels get no profit as people like us dont opt for breakfast he continued rambling on next few minutes when i enquired about other things! Honestly I could have raised my concern about his behaviour there itself but being a solo female traveler first time in swiss I was afraid and so disappointed. I am came back at my home country and am writing this review on my jarring experience.

Avoid the parking!

Pros: Good location right by the city centre and kind staff.

Cons: Really tight parking garage entry, even by European standards. And there is no need to use it for overnight stays - there is local street parking just outside. Beds were a bit soft and the ceiling fan looked like it might unscrew itself.

Cons: Outdated facilities and rude staff. We went to Switzerland for a vacation recently and stayed at this hotel. Room was outdated and old, water dripping from bathroom sink water pipe, and ceiling fan was loud. The hotel receptionist blurted out an inaccurate comment that why our luggage handle broke, because its Made in China while there was no product label and we were speaking Chinese! We corrected him at the time but got no apology. This is very insensitive, inaccurate, and unprofessional behavior. Not to mention the luggage was good quality with hard case compare to an expensive one I brought in Migro for $100 with a soft case. My luggage broke because of my improper and high usage lifting the handle to cross streets and buses. Regardless of what products and made where, the key is the comment was rude and racist. The receptionist should change this behavior learn that every country makes different quality products in different fields and you pay for what you get. There are many reasons why business import certain products. China also made many good products and good achievements in different fields. He should be respectful and visit other countries to get more knowledge as well. His comment ruined my mood for the day and left a bad impression for my trip and should stop this behavior. I hope other tourists and guests dont have to experience this ever again. Insensitive and illogical behaviors cause many racisms and hate in the world which is really sad.
