Great location in a nice clean environment with beautiful views from the balcony.

Pros: The breakfast was pretty good. There wasn't a buffet because there were so few guests, so we had a choice of three or four different plates. The food was ok. The beach bar was really fun and the drinks were good and not expensive. The pool bar was the same. Good drinks for a good price and a nice sized pool as well.

Cons: We had a studio up on the fourth floor; there were nearly no outlets at all. There no electrical outlets by the desk. The only power strip available was on one side of a king-sized bed. That was pretty bad for this day and age.

Were looking forward to returning!!

Pros: Both the location and the facility in general were exactly what we were looking for. It was in the sweet spot between the more active pueblo, and the quieter resort/rental end. We did come later in the season, so not sure what the comparison would be when its busy. The people who live in Las Terrenas made us feel welcome in their home. Thank you for being such a receptive location and beautiful staff. I hope anyone who comes to stay sees what a special place this is and treats it with the warmth and kindness with which it deserves.

Cons: It was really quite lovely. A few times there were some bar/pool music choices which werent what we were looking for (not interested in clubbing music at the beach) and definitely did enjoy the local/caribean/world music choices. And it would have been lovely to have a few more local fish options on the menu, but this is really minimal feedback, and for El Loro. So cant really say its a negative, more a recommendation based on personal choices.

Pros: Gorgeous, secure location and facility on Playa Las Ballenas. Easy walking distance to center of town for shopping and restaurants, and beautiful beachside walk to Punta Popy and El Portillo. Friendly, professional, accommodating Dominican staff. Delicious daily breakfast buffet. Cosmopolitan, laid-back beach bar and pool (with swim-up bar). Perfect for couples or families seeking relaxation and connection to nature.

Cons: My husband pointed out that AC in apartment was strongest in bedroom and rather weak in kitchen, which was perfect for me. Otherwise, everything exceeded expectations.

The staff and facilities were excellent and we look forward to returning!

Pros: Great breakfast buffet with choices for all tastes and needs. Convenient access to the beach/ocean across the street.

Cons: The living room area inside was not very comfortable for sitting more than 30 minutes, the kitchen bar stools very uncomfortable for any period of time, and the desk chair also very uncomfortable.
