A beautiful pleasant hotel!

Pros: A beautiful central hotel. Very easy to find. Parking facilities right across the road for 10 euros/ 24 hours. The chateau and park is directly in front of the hotel. The two ladies on reception were so kind, friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to help us. We had a beautiful stay. Fountainebleau was just wonderful.

Great location, but overpriced.

Pros: Location to visiting the chateau at Fontainebleau was excellent—just across the street. The room size was generous, and it had a small refrigerator and good coffee and tea making equipment. Parking for our car was close by, and the hotel validated our ticket for a reduced rate of 10 euro for 24 hours.

Cons: This was an old building and lacked adequate electrical outlets. There was no outlet in the bathroom so no place to plug in a hair dryer, which did not work in any of the outlets in the sleeping area. There were no USB ports either. We felt the optional breakfast was overpriced at 25 Euro per person so we walked across the street to a boulangerie for pastries. Finally, our travel plans had changed so we needed to change our the date of our reservation. The staff made an error and booked us for the requested date in 2024 not 2023. When that error was pointed out, the hotel changed our reservation to the correct dates, but the rate was $62 higher.

Pros: Hotel and check in went smoothly.

Cons: Our room was disappointing. It was poorly furnished and poorly lit. There was no hair dryer in bathroom. Lack of decent power points to recharge things.
