About Homewood Suites By Hilton Brand Hotels

Homewood Suites is another hotel chain that is managed by the notable Hilton Worldwide. Homewood Suites boasts of having residential-style hotels in which are often operated and owned by franchisees. Presently, there are approximately 450 hotels under the Homewood Suites serving the areas in Canada, the United States, and Mexico.

In 1989, the first-ever Homewood Suites hotel was launched in Omaha, Nebraska. Originally, this hotel chain was owned by Promus Hotel Corporation. However, in 1999, Hilton Worldwide bought Promus, thus acquiring Homewood Suites along with other Promus-owned hotel chains.

After the purchase, the name was changed to Homewood Suites by Hilton. Adding a layer of assurance as Hilton hotels are known for their high quality of hotels and services. Guests who choose to stay at Homewood Suites are choosing to stay in accommodations that boast of comfort away from home.     Pros: The staff were great. The room was immaculate,had a great stay.
    Cons: The pool was very disgusting. It was green slimy and you could tell there was an algae issue and you couldn't even see the floor. While we observed the conditions of the pool 2 staff members walked in and neither seem to think the pool was an issue.

    Very nice hotel, easy to get to, and food and amenities were good; one of the nicer hotels Ive stayed in.

    Pros: Very clean, beautiful hotel. Rooms were very nice, fridge was full size, stand up shower was nice, and breakfast was very good. Pool was nice as well, gym looked well set up, and they offered complimentary water and fruit/snacks.
    Cons: Not all rooms had bathtubs.

    Pros: Breakfast was great, loved the options of the hot food and drinks. The pool was very nice, we had fun swimming. The outdoor patio area was really nice too, plenty of seating. Our room was very comfortable, and clean, we liked that there were plenty of lamps for softer lighting in the evening. The shade on the window was great at blocking light and providing privacy. We also liked that it was quiet. We didn't hear noise from other hotel rooms.
    Cons: The road to turn on for the hotel was hard to see the first time. It looked more like a driveway, and had a small road sign. I missed it the first time because the tall grass and reeds in the ditch almost completely blocked the sign. Also, the same of the hotel was only on the front of it. It would have been nice to have the name on the back that faces the main road to help point it out more. The other thing was, we wanted to cook our own dinner, but the pans didn't seem very clean, but there was no dish soap, only a dishwasher pod. And there were no spatulas or larger spoons for stirring food. We managed ok, though, since we were only there for the weekend.

    Pros: Everything was great, from the checkin experience to the checkout. Dominick sent a message shortly after I arrived to see if everything was OK, and he was very friendly throughout my stay. It was clean, quiet, and it had a good breakfast.

    Pros: Suite was spacious. Hotel overall was clean and comfortable. Fruit and coffee/tea was available in lobby anytime. Fitness room was comfortable and spacious.
    Cons: Fridge/freezer was noisy but easily fixed by changing to a warmer setting. There was some sort of food residue on the underside of the sofa bed (only visible when you pulled the bed out).
