Lacks customer service and not 5 star

Pros: location and access to Fira

Cons: ositive / view and location but the property does not qualify for 5 start status both in terms of amenities and service. We were offered the top apartment which had very deep long stair cases to access to the restaurant and pool.The pool had a shaking aka broken steel walk way in the water. The attitude of the staff was not to receive feedback and concerns, instead they seem to bask in the glory that they have very good ratings online which is the reason we booked them in the first place. The biggest dissappoinment was when my husband requested for a few mins delay in checkout post 11 am / the staff threatened us to charge for delay by the minute. This was not stated in the booking confirmation so is not a standard policy. We did not find the experience pleasant and would not recommend this place to family and friends. We were a family of 4 global travellers travelling with teen kids. We have stayed in numerous hotels in Santorini and this one has been the biggest disappointment for the money they charge

Without Doubt the Best Luxury Accommodation in Santorini!!

Pros: A simply incredible property. The whole thing from start to finish is hard to beat. The view is amazing, the pool, the rooms, the way it is all put together. The location in Firostefani is the best. The breakfast, served every morning to your room's outdoor viewing area, is a highlight. All the staff were amazing (from the driver who met us at the airport through to reception, food and beverage, luggage and operations - everyone). Professional, friendly, knowledgeable and above all, happy to be there. They went out of their way to make us welcome and enjoy the property. Nothing was ever too much trouble. We cannot recommend this property highly enough.

Cons: Hard to find any issues, however the restaurant, while offering amazing food, was expensive. There are many others on the island that offer great food at significantly cheaper prices.

An incredible hotel in every way - very highly recommended

Pros: This is an incredible hotel. It is very rare to find a property that has the highest quality bedrooms, mind-blowing food in the restaurant and consistently friendly service from start to finish. We came here to celebrate my 50th birthday and it was perfect in every way. We have travelled extensively over the years, and Homeric Poems is one of the best placed we've ever stayed in. As you enter the property, the feelings of calm and luxury are very special. Stefano and his team provide a level of service that far surpassed any other hotel. We felt special the entire time and have already recommended the hotel to others. The restaurant needs to be more actively shown on the website, as the food was amazing (clever, imaginative and beautifully produced). Thank you to everyone at Homeric Poems - your hotel is an absolute delight!

Pros: Everything at Homeric Poems was exceptional. The staff were so helpful and welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, from transfers to restaurant bookings and booking our sunset cruise. The property is stunning with beautiful views of the Caldara and is in a lovely quiet location in Firostefani, with an easy walk to Fira and Imerovigli. We enjoyed an exceptional breakfast each morning on our private balcony which was stunning. The propertys infinity pool is very private with beautiful sunset views. Homeric Poems is the perfect place to stay in stunning Santorini.

5 stars across the board

Pros: The property is beautifully nestled into the cliff side in Firostefani, a small suburb of Fira. The hotel amenities were all beautiful and our room was truly incredible. All of the staff made sure to feel that we were provided with 5 star accommodations and they did. The food and drinks from the bar/restaurant were fantastic and all are very carefully thought out by the team. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a hotel in Santorini.

Our stay at Homeric Poems exceeded our expectations.

Pros: The position was perfect for walking into Fira and Imerovigli. The views of the Caldera were amazing. We had the best sunset and enjoyed our morning breakfast on our private balcony. The staff were exceptional, so polite and helpful. We would highly recommend this place.

Pros: Beautiful view from Caldera and in room breakfast. Clean, quiet, spacious room, with private pool... Kind stuff...

Cons: No restaurant in the hotel. So many stairs to enter the room. Taxi station is 200 meters from hotel. Firostefani is a little bit far from Thira, 20 minutes walking distance, but with up and downs, especially in 40 degrees...kind of heavy...

loved it -- so pretty and peaceful -- can't think of a better place to stay on the island

Pros: The location and views were exceptional. Very private and the staff were terrific from the front desk to the staff at the bar to the service staff. The breakfast delivered to your room to have on your private patio was so nice and the food was very good. If I ever come back to Santorini I would come back here and I will recommend it to family and friends.

Pros: BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING, WOW!!! This hotel is luxury!!!! We couldn't fault our stay here at all. Room was amazing, pool area with the breath taking view was stunning and breakfast served on your balcony was something to remember. Staff also couldn't be more accommodating and assisted in any way they could. Would definitely recommend this hotel
