Cons: Beds and pillows were uncomfortable and room was too hot and could have done with better light. Glass of wine for £14.50 put us off using the on site dining facilities

Cons: No slippers in our room which is unusual as we have stayed there half a dozen times now and always had slippers.

Great hotel with good amenities...

Pros: Breakfast was good. They cater very carefully for allergies too and so whilst this does slow down the food arriving at the table as it is prepared separately, would recommend. The room was a great size and was comfortable, and the staff were very good. Pool and gym were fine and ready for use (the men’s changing room was undergoing refurbishment but this didn’t detract from the experience). Location was good as we were visiting for an event at the NEC and the drive in was perfect.

Cons: The tv had a ‘hard of hearing’ descriptor which could not be switched off (even the manager tried and couldn’t work it out) and so we had to select programs where this wasn’t an option as it made the viewing experience of a tense movie with little dialogue emotional. The pool looked a little tired in some places.

Absolutely amazing. We were made...

Pros: Staff lovely and very helpful. Food delicious. Lots of choice on the breakfast buffet and staff around to help if needed and to get you fresh coffee and tea etc. Comfortable beds and lovely set out in the room of the family room. Lovely swimming pool, hot jacuzzi, sauna and steam rooms, all very clean. Beautiful entrance area when you enter the hotel and sitting areas and lounge area with a TV. Restaurant lovely and clean and we had an evening meal included too which was 3 courses and delicious and great portion sizes too. . Staff go above and beyond and a special shout out to Gary in the restaurant as he went out of his way to give us advice on places to visit and he even printed off directions for us, customer service at it's best, what a lovely man he was! There's a shopping centre directly across the road called Touchwood with a few shops and some restaurants and this leads into a small town centre so this was handy.
