Happy to revisit this hotel...

Pros: The parking lot right behind the hotel is so convenient! Breakfast was pretty good, there was a decent amount of options. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Cons: I was under the impression that parking was included in the booking price, I was surprised to have to pay an additional cost.. however it was a reasonable price. The desk staff were not terribly friendly, but they did their jobs well.

Cons: Located on the north side of Dundas Street between Colborne & Waterloo Streets, I picked the place because it was within walking distance to the library & some vegan restaurants. I had come for research & was hoping for a quiet place to relax. I had heard from others that the area was a little sketchy, but I thought that the location of the Delta across the street & the Marriott nearby would mean it would be ok. The bad: When I arrived to check in, the lobby was full of new Canadians & piles of their clothing & supplies littered all over the lobby in garbage bags. There was also a security guard seated in the lobby. It was a disconcerting first impression. When I asked about what was happening I was informed that the hotel was also a long term stay facility. There is no doubt that such spaces are needed, but renting out rooms to travellers, for an expensive fee, in the same facility where immigrants are being housed left me feeling that I had been duped. It seemed dishonest to advertise the place to travellers as a hotel when in reality it was a long term stay facility. Later that day I was able to check-in, only after 3:00 (which was odd) I was further dismayed to see the state of the place, it had seen better days. While there were two elevators, only one was working, which was made more difficult when they were commandeered for support for the immigrant families. Everything about the place was tired & used & certainly not what one would expect for the price quoted. While attempts had been made to dress up the actual room (I was on the 7th floor) to make it seem like a regular hotel, a coffee maker, bottled water, a fridge & microwave, there was little attention paid to actual comfort. Pleasant

Pros: It was clean. The staff were always helpful and courteous. Parking was close by. It was close to locations we needed to be at. My mother and sister liked the King size bed as they felt it to be comfortable to sleep on.

Cons: The room was very outdated. The sofa bed was not in good shape as the back of the seat cushions were were slumped in making it hard to get up from the couch. When opening up the sofa bed to sleep, the frame was bent, the mattress was severely stained with blood and other things, therefore it did not feel sanitary for me at all. Once the opened sofa bed was covered with everything I could find, once I got in I felt a large wow in the middle of the bed. I did not have a comfortable sleep at all.

Pros: Nothing really. No signs so it took awhile to find. Looks like a residential building.

Pros: Location in downtown and very close to all the cafes and restaurants. The desk and chair were really good in the room for office work. Also they had an additional small business centre room in lobby for taking any office meetings. Staff was very polite and helpful. Overall good stay in budget.

Cons: The flooring has very old carpet which could be improved and the lighting in the room towards the entrance was very very low. Nothing much in breakfast and nothing for vegetarians.
