    Very Good

    hotel is definitely worth it...

    Pros: location was wonderful. near metro and many food options! area was quiet at night time too.
    Cons: understand that it was a whole France rule that air conditioning cannot be switched on during winter months but it made the room really stuffy. keeping the window open for a long period of time was too cold too.

    Decent budget hotel in a...

    Pros: Excellent location in a great neighborhood with a metro station 5 steps from the front door. Friendly staff. Located on a busy street but good soundproofing on the windows prevents any street noise.
    Cons: Wifi was very spotty. Thin walls, we could hear our neighbors TV and conversations. The temperature controls in the room were disabled. It was quite warm, we mentioned this to the staff and they said they would enable us to control the temperature but nothing was changed.

    Pros: It was quiet, great location, staff were very friendly and helpful and room was kept clean.
    Cons: All charges should be paid as you book so you know the overall cost. The room tax that we had to pay on the last day was very high.

    A wonderful stay in a...

    Pros: I have stayed at Hotel Paix Republique several times in the past and this was my first visit in two years or so. The hotel is as it was: staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable. I chose to have breakfast which had a large selection of foods and drinks. A great location to walk and to catch the metro to visit different parts of the city. Remains excellent value for money.
    Cons: I do not think anything could be improved upon.

    overall very nice stay.

    Pros: The staff were so kind and welcoming, caring for all of my needs. The location was perfect. The room was quiet despite being in a busy area. The bed and linens were comfortable. Breakfast was great.
    Cons: My only complaint is there was a bath but i couldn't use it because the bath tap didn't work, nor did the plug. I missed not having that option.
