    Pros: The location was great. The breakfast was OK. Complants were handled fast. Staffs were very helpful and friendly. Communication was easy.
    Cons: Took 2 rooms, the 8 floor room was good, the 4th floor room was super below standard... So run down, old with dirty walls. Was not happy with the room at all. The room smells like cigarette smoke. When complain the house keeping came with a air refresher spray after spray OK but after dinner when we came in the room it smells cigarettes again. Aircon was not cold at all, complaint to the front office. The maintenance came and cleaned the blocked filter, after that the aircon was OK. . No towel provided at the pool, so need to bring towel from room. Since it's only a day we tolerated the smell and don't want to spoil our holiday mood.

    Nice enough, could be better value for money

    Pros: Grand Inna Medan is in an excellent location for access to Medan, has spacious rooms and is fairly clean. The pool is very pleasant. The old colonial bit of the building is quite pretty If you need laundry doing, Rakyat laundry is much cheaper than the hotel and is just around the corner.
    Cons: The hotel would benefit from some updating to make it better value for money - the curtains etc. were a bit grimy.

    Clean, convenient, safe and a good value for money.

    Pros: Location was perfect - close to the train station and very convenient for us. Breakfast buffet was nice but we would have loved to know more about what we were eating as no one seemed to speak much English. Pool staff were super friendly and the saltwater pool was nice to swim in and the temperature perfect. A few more plants and deck chair seating would have been nice.
    Cons: That reception staff had limited English although they were really trying to help.

    Comfortable spacious rooms with a nice pool

    Pros: Staff were very nice from the moment to arrive. Had someone bring your luggage and take you up to your room. The pool area is very nice, with the train station and shopping malls close by.
    Cons: The hot water pressure in my room wasnt the best but it isnt a deal breaker still was able to have a warm shower comfortably.

    Good stay, hotel staff could be more proactive and productive.

    Pros: Right in the city, good view, tried their best to accommodate guests needs to make their stay comfortable.
    Cons: Reservation/Check out staff were very slow in responding and finalizing the request/work. You had to chase them for answers. They expected each other to do the job. Couldnt be bothered to move at speed. Surely it isnt the culture.
