Pros: Reception and Concierge staff extremely helpful. Clean environment. Immediate attention to repair. Very friendly staff. At breakfast corner- first 2 days staff were very attentive and checked on our meal requests.

Cons: There were no face towels were provided for 2 consecutive days. Breakfast- morning drinks are rather served selectively to guests. Need to walk across to request for tea or coffee.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel with spacious, clean rooms, friendly and attentive staff, and great offers.

Pros: I had a fantastic stay at Grand Chennai! The room I stayed in was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean, which made for a comfortable and relaxing experience. The staff members were a delight; they greeted me with warm smiles and went above and beyond to assist with any requests I had. The hotel's special offers were a nice bonus that added value to my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for its outstanding service and well-maintained accommodations.

Cons: The breakfast was alright, but I expected a broader selection of dishes, and the bacon was somewhat dry and lacked flavor.

The biggest issue was cleanliness.

Pros: The driver who picked us up from the airport; he was genuinely friendly and helpful.

Cons: I had high expectations for Le Grand Chennai, but unfortunately, my stay fell short. Right from the start, the reception was cold with an unwelcoming agent. We had booked a "Grand Club" room for three, but it was essentially a standard room with a makeshift extra bed. The biggest issue was cleanliness. Our room was dirty: a used fruit knife, insects, spider webs, and even unidentified insect droppings. There were also signs of mold in the bathroom. We even took photos as evidence. Even after requesting a room change, we encountered similar cleanliness issues. Even at checkout, the experience left much to be desired. The agent seemed irritated and didn't even inquire about our stay. Honestly, I would rate this hotel as 3 stars at best, despite its claim of being a 5-star establishment. The only saving grace was the driver who picked us up from the airport; he was genuinely friendly and helpful. For those considering staying in Chennai, there are other 5-star hotels far superior in terms of service and cleanliness. I certainly won't be returning to Le Grand Chennai after this poor experience.
