Pros: The food was very good (Breakfast and Dinner). The minimal staff were working their proverbial tails off, and were very friendly and patient - hats off to them.

Cons: The Golspie Inn was very understaffed. They know about, and choose to operate that way. But, the service was exceptionally slow.

Golspie Inn is a delightful place to stay!

Pros: This is an historic inn. They have done a good job modernizing where possible (historical regulations must be obeyed) and I appreciate the amenities. WiFi is available, meals can be obtained on site, the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and the food is good. My room was very clean with an impressive bathroom and a big bed. Even with a late check-in I was helped to my room and shown how to find light switches and everything I needed. The morning staff was even friendlier and helped me find my way around accomplishing my day's agenda.I will do my best to return.

Cons: There is some highway noise if your room is on the southeast side of the inn. Being an American I have to remind myself that microwaves and mini fridges in the room are not a required part of lodging. Apparently folding luggage stands are also not universal.

Tired old Inn

Pros: Requested a single room but was put in a twin room, I don't know if this was reflected in the price. The room was clean and warm with a slope which I assume was because of the age of the Inn. There were a few marks which need to be touched up where the beds have been moved. The bathroom was very modern and clean until you looked up to the skylight and the mouldy windows which I felt should have been opaque glass and not clear glass. Very pleasant staff member who seemed to be a jack of all trades as he was everywhere, Reception, Bar, Restaurant, Breakfasts etc... One staff member very bossy to the new member of staff who I assumed was in training. Although the web site shows an Al a Carte menu, I was informed that the night I was staying it was the 1/2 price Burger Night only, "Chefs Decision" apparently. It was an OK burger but a bit disappointing when you are expecting a nice meal. Breakfast, although the menu said there was either Continental or Full Breakfast I didn't see any sign of what was on the Continental Breakfast other than a few Cereals and Juice's on a table

Cons: Not what I expected a bit disappointing, the outside looks shabby unlike the photograph on your web site. Not keeping their web site up to date with the Menu and rooms situation. Seek and ye shall find your tea and coffee! Unable to open the sash windows for some fresh air as it was too noisy from the extractor funnel from the kitchens below the window and the smell of the burgers cooking. Wifi connection but no internet? No USB sockets either Not worth 100 for one night for just BnB

Very good stay and very helpful staff. Value for money with breakfast included.

Pros: Location. Breakfast. Off road parking. Very comfy bed.

Cons: Front car park uneven and gravel. Not good for motorcycle. Staff were brilliant and allowed me to park at the back of the hotel behind gates.

If it hadnt of been for the disturbance, we would have been more than happy with this hotel.

Pros: Food was good, room was spacious and the staff helpful.

Cons: Unfortunately workmen were noisy in the room next door from around 7.30 onwards.
