Disappointing

Pros: It was cheap and things weren't dirty but I wouldn't call it clean either. Just kind of ok. Considering the price it was aright but i do wish I spend the money on a nicer place

Cons: The halls smelled like baby powder all the time and there were air freshens in the elevator. I can't tell if they were covering something up or just trying to make things smell nice because it didn't seem dirty. The free breakfast was horrific. Better off just not offering it. Nothing hot was served and what was offered tasted funky and stale. Don't book this place over another because of the "breakfast". Beds were rundown springs not comfortable at all

Pros: the principal and best with this hotel the localization.

Cons: the property needs to be remodel and needs to improve the cleaning. my room smelled bad (like a combination of cigarette and humidity), the carpet wasn’t clean, the shower had hairs in the tiles and the bedsheets had spots of dirty.

Excellent value for the money

Pros: While a "basic" hotel, the room was well-appointed, clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean and everything worked, the plumbing, TV, and WIFI. The included continental breakfast was exceptional; it had a much larger selection that we expected, including: waffles freshly made while you waited, muffins, bagels, toast, mini doughnuts, several cereals to choose from, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, several fruit juices, several coffee choices and tea. They also used sturdy recyclable paperboard plates and bowls and wooden utensils.

Cons: The residential neighbourhood nearby was rundown, perhaps even seedy. We weren't entirely comfortable walking through it at night and stuck to the well-lit main streets.

Cons: This hotel needs renovation. The toilet was clogged when we arrived, and there was water leaking from the toilet. It was hard to find parking and the parking lot is very narrow.

Pros: This is a good location for a quick connection to the QEW towards NOL, and St. Catharines. It is a friendly clean and well run hotel

Cons: It was up to expected standards. The advertising was honest and the staff was accommodating.

Can't dislike it for what...

Pros: I liked the breakfast. The waffles were good, and even though it wasn't patio season, my husband and I enjoyed sitting outside. The gas station and McDonald's right next door was amazingly convenient. The Wifi was great. Nicely decorated. Decent hot water for long tub soak. A/c and heat worked well. Nice staff, it seemed like a family run hotel. Breakfast was well stocked with hard-boiled eggs, fresh made waffles, apples, toast or bagels with a few condiments, little muffins and powdered doughnuts, yogurt, cereal was crunchy, milk was cold, hot chocolate, expresso, French vanilla I think. The cleaner was in while we were at dinner.. we didn't put the sign on the door for cleaning, so i wasn't expecting them to come in while we were gone.. but no big deal. They made the bed nice, the blanket and sheets were crisp and white, and there were no stains.

Cons: 1. Parking. Not much even in the back. We would leave for an hour, and all spots would be gone. 2. There were a few homeless people hanging behind the building. 3. The hotel smells like heavy perfume air freshener. There were 4 right in the elevator as well as a bunch on the walls in the hallway. 4. The Jacuzzis tub hair black hair stuck in the jets when we got there 5. There was minimal dim lighting in the room. 6. The sign out front was smashed in. I'm not sure why, but it looked terrible 7. Tub had really bad staining around the drain. 8. The toilet ran, and the tap dripped 9. Pressure in the shower wasn't ideal, but that's because of calcium buildup on the spout 10. Hair on bathroom floor upon arrival 11. Coffee in the breakfast lounge was very weak. Almost like water, same with the juice, very watery 12. Waffle maker had thick black residue on the grates, could use a good scrape off, didn't really affect the waffles, though. It just wasn't nice to look at. 13. Our debit card got stuck in the ATM. It took 5 minutes to get it out after we reset the machine 14. There is no water in the vending machine, only soft drinks and nestea

Pros: This hotel has improved a great deal since my last stay a few years ago. My room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was spotless, I appreciated the toiletries and hairdryer. The continental style breakfast was basic but all I needed to start my day. I appreciated the free parking. This is a great budget friendly option

Cons: The bed unfortunately wasn't that comfortable. The springs were noisy and I could feel them starting to pop out of the sides. The pillows were almost hard. The bathroom needs a nightlight it's so dark during the night I had to put the light on to see. Not great if you want to go back to sleep, and it disturbed my husband. The sofa in the room was impossible to sit on comfortably. The cushions were all caved in at the centre.

Pros: Location is not far from the fall, good for a quick stay in and out. Free parking, free fruits for breakfast.

Cons: The price dropped like 25% the night before check-in, property won’t do any price match or room upgrade, basically told me contact booking.com. And it took forever to find someone in time while you are traveling. Super loud street during the night, like you are camping outside. Anyone walking in the hallway you can hear it.
