Cons: Most things! Hotel is tired and desperately needs an update Thought that I was in the Shining ! Long, long corridors before you encounter a lift Chipped/ scuffed woodwork and walls throughout, (wallpaper peeling off walls in multiple places) Room was small, gloomy , looks like the contents were purchased from a closing down residential home. Mosquitoes everywhere. Glad that the windows didn't open, however, got bitten several times whilst out on the balcony in the Sky bar having a cigarette. I have stayed at all of the hotels previously in the area when events are on. Never have I been unable to get a drink/ table in the hotel's restaurant where I am paying a ridiculous amount to stay! Due to the other (chain) restaurants at Resorts World being booked/ huge queues, the only way that I could eat something prior to the gig that I was attending was to order food via room service, (tray charge and dire food). There is not a single shop where you can buy drinks/ snacks to enjoy in your room! Shower screen was not wide enough to absorb water from the overhead shower, leading to flooding of the bathroom Grim view outside. Breakfast was a shambles! No juices or glasses! I asked for both and staff brought out a quarter filled container which soon ran out! Had to flag staff down to order 2 pots of tea which was bitter and undrinkable. Am sure that breakfast staff are robots! SO miserable and disorganised! Only 'sweet and processed' scrambled eggs available, (al a carte involved waiting staff actually acknowledging that you were there and a guest) Poor quality ingredients, I was fortunate enough to 'bag' a stale croissant, no side plates so I had to put in a cereal bowl! The worst hotel that I have ever stayed in! If you love plastic flowers everywhere, staff that are rude, miserable and ignore you, this is the place to stay!

Disappointing and a health risk

Cons: Reception filled with a poisonous perfume from the white company piped through the air conditioning system. Highly dangerous to your health and can trigger asthma attacks . Children and babies should not breathe this in, in an unventilated area . Can cause perm damage to both lungs and heart if subject to prolonged exposure. The staff in reception were notified of this and I asked them to find out for me, which product it was and to inform the general manager , that I wanted to discuss this . I found it almost impossible to breathe in there and had to wear a mask . To date , I have received no information or communication from the manager . Will not be using the hotel again
