Owned by Marriott Group of Companies, Fairfield Inn started as a quaint hotel located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. Owned and developed by John Willard and Alice Marriott, the first Fairfield Inn hotel used to be Fairfield Farm and offered a stunning eye-candy in the region. Inspired by this beauty, Marriott created and built its first ever Fairfield by Marriott Hotel in 1987 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Originally intended to provide accommodation services for the economy market or below $45 a night and to compete with other leading hotel brands such as Hampton Inn, Red Roof Inn and Days Inn, Marriott launches Fairfield Inn. The brand success triggered a global expansion in 2003 with the brand targeting guests and clients from around the world. By 2017, during the 30th year anniversary of the brand, Marriott opened 900 hotels and expansions in their earlier branches in Asia and South America.

In 2019, Fairfield Inn reached another milestone and opened its 1000th hotel - Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Denver Tech Center North. Pros: The staff was extremely nice. The building is older but everything has been updated and in good working order.

Cons: Possibly my own fault but I pulled into the wrong entrance twice after dark. Perhaps a sign helping guests see the difference between the entrance to Fairfield vs the bowling alley next door.

Pros: location was next to bar walking steps. 2 front desk person charged me 2 times for my already pre paid stay. 3 room was very terrible smelled of not cleaned in weeks had stains on furniture had to check out never stayed . its not a Marriott comp. I'm use to staying at

Pros: Room was clean, beds comfortable, bathroom serviceable.

Cons: Breakfast was sub-par for 2 mornings. There was no yogurt, fruit, jelly and milk ran out. We had to eat elsewhere the second morning. Staff said due to Thanksgiving holiday, a truck did not come in. A sign indicating this problem may have helped.

Cons: Light switch in the bathroom was wonky and had to turn it on and off several times to make it work. Also signs in the parking lot saying “we are not responsible for stolen property” made it feel unsafe. Breakfast was sad. Bagels with no cream cheese only a few packets of butter. No jelly for toast and overall few options on a Saturday morning.

We enjoyed our stay at...

Pros: We liked the room. The hotel was convenient for our needs. Parking was good. The staff was very attentive to whatever you needed.

Cons: We were disappointed that the breakfast was not the usual we find at other hotels. There wasn’t much of a choice to eat. The hot food was not appetizing. Usually, there is a waffle maker and better choices for hot breakfast. needless to say we went out to breakfast all three days. Management needs to rethink their breakfast choices. Checking out what other hotels are serving for breakfast would be very helpful.
