Excellent outdoor swimming pool

Pros: Large room, with large bathroom, comfortable bed, excellent shower, perfumed toiletries, nice sunny varanda, good heating and air conditioning, hairdryer, spacious wardrobes. Varied breakfast, excellent outdoor swimming pool.

Cons: The indoor swimming pool is not big, and there is a rim underwater at one of the extremities for the water jets which is not well signalled so we risk hit it as we swim, until we memorise the exact location. The duvets had a chemical smell. The carpet in the corridors was dusty. Buses to town not very frequent.

Enjoyed our stay , would probably go back.

Cons: The light in the bedroom was motion controlled and the bathroom had a glass wall . This meant that the room was flooded with light when my husband used the bathroom in the night , thus waking me up . I dont understand why hotel designers do this glass bathroom thing .

Pros: The service upon check in/check out was good. We had lunch at the restaurant, it was and excellent service. We had drinks at the bar, service was excellent there as well. The room was spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Great sunrise view from our room.

Cons: The front steps do not have any hand railings in my husband almost fell. He had nothing to grab a hold of so I had to catch him with my arm. The landscaping looks a little old and tired, as do the mannequins as part of the decor inside. The bathroom had a glass wall, so there was no way to leave the bathroom light on for a little bit of light (nightlight) if you need to get up in the night for the bathroom. It would just light up the whole room instead. The area rugs slide across the floor, so I dont see the point in even having them. The area rugs did not look particularly clean. It would be better just to have the bare floor, the floor was well swept and clean. We did not realize that the outdoor pool was designed for sunbathing instead of swimming, so that was a disappointment as well, especially were the indoor pool was closed that weekend.

Pros: Location: we wanted a nice hotel not far from Lisbon but not far from setubal and troia and this hotel was midway. Big room and bathroom, clean, huge shower, nice balcony, comfortable beds. Very Nice pool Great choice for breakfast

Cons: - this hotel is too dark (and I love design hotels) but this was far from pleasant. You always have to be careful when walking around the corridors or stairs to avoid crashing into something. I went downstairs at the bar area at 9am to ask a question and I couldnt even see the receptionist. The room is very dark as well which is great from a design perspective but from a practical one is very frustrating. Impossible to check your bags, or your clothes and pray God not to loose something on the floor! You will never going to find it :-/ There are no lights! - I would expect a design hotel like this one to be well maintained but it wasnt the case. Umbrellas at the pool are broken, tiles on the floor ruined by limescale, plants are dead, but mostly the communal area was not clean. At 9am in the morning we found outdoor tables closed to the pool with half full glasses of wine from the night before, plates with food on them, empty glasses at the pool as well. - the same tables were still dirty 2 days after. Glasses and plates had been removed but the tables still dirty. - Im a smoker and I blame people for not behaving as they should! But Ive found many cigarettes butts on the floor close to the pool and no one would clean them.

Pros: Beautiful property, incredibly stylish, well designed layout and stunning rooms. Pool is a lovely addition to the location and with a beach on minutes away it is the perfect getaway location for a loner, a family or a couple.
