Beautiful relaxing hotel for exploring Aegina

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was very friendly and nice to deal with. The room was clean and well-furnished with a good view over the pool. The breakfast was delicious and the pools were lovely!

Cons: Be prepared to take a taxi/drive/rent a moped to get here from the main port in Aegina town. We rented a moped and this worked well for us.

Pros: The breakfast was delicious with incredibly friendly, warm staff who were so welcoming! The location has a stunning view of the sea, sunset, quiet, wonderful pool area to relax in. The meals were just delicious, it felt like a home away from home. The owner was so helpful to ensure every aspect of my stay was taken care of including getting to and from different parts of the island. Just loved Ela Mesa!!!

A true greek gem

Pros: Lovely quaint family run hotel in a quiet location. The pool was lovely and roooms very spacious and good value. Loved the memory foam topped bed which gave us good nights sleep. Its only a 2 to 3 minute walk from the village. The village is a real gem and a true nearly untouched greek fishing village with a handful of restaurants all serving traditional food. Not a tourist trap. We hired bikes, which the hotel arranged to be dropped off for us, and toured the island. We discovered the best beaches this way which can't be reached otherwise.

Cons: The local beach is not organized and quite small. But the hotel pool made up for it, and getting the bikes gave us the freedom to get to other beaches.

Pros: Impressive hotel, small but with all you need and amazing staff. The boss could appear grumpy but this is about his style, in fact he has a great heart ;)... the overall silence is stunning.

Really enjoyable and relaxing

Pros: The location was great for access to Souvala and local beaches & ferry to Athens. Our apart was spacious & good for a family of 4. Staff were extremely helpful & went above and beyond to get some property left in the apartment to the main land which we were extremely grateful for.

Cons: We really enjoyed our stay, the only small comment would be that the pool rules were not clear when booking apart from quiet times in the afternoon. The children were told off for splashing water and making too many waves due to the pool being close to tables with menus on, which took some of the fun away from the holiday as we were not able to fully relax at the pool worrying wed get told off. No jumping, diving etc is understandable, however kids splashing & having fun in a pool is surely to be expected if allowing children to stay. We respected the rules and still enjoyed our stay, however if your children like to splash about & mess around in the pool then this probably isnt the property. This is more a place for quite relaxation with the nearby beaches for the kids to mess around.
