    Disappointing

    Disappointing accommodation

    Pros: Duncan and Mai were lovely people and tried hard to please. Breakfast was reasonable and there was a fair choice.
    Cons: The room was very small. Just about fitted a double bed. There was a shabby old desk and a sagging chair and a plastic desk chair. There was no storage available for clothing and we had to live out of our suitcase. Hanging space was a rack screwed to the wall with a few mismatched coat hangers. The bathroom was tiny. The shower screen was cloudy with wear and tear and the door came off in my hand whilst showering! It was very basic. Towels were shabby and old and the bedding was threadbare. The curtains were badly fitted and the windows did not open. There was also a small piece of glass on the carpet which I was lucky not to have cut my foot on.

    Pros: Bedroom was ok, bathroom too. Location fairly close ro city centre. Parking free of charge available.
    Cons: Busy street. The breakfast was a disappointment, not well presented and justcooked breakfast and one typ of cereals.

    Pros: It was amazing at all. She was so kind and so sweet and soo hospitable. The hotel is 15-20 minutes away from the center by foot. There is a bus stop right next to it. And those breakfasts she made.. delicious. Thanks for everything!!!

    we loved our first stay...

    Pros: Such a friendly and cheerful host to welcome and look after us at breakfast time.. cooked breakfast was excellent and beautifully hot and fresh. security system was very easy to use and very reassuring to know we could come and go independently and easily. there was a lovely fresh aromatic smell in the house. excellent carpet in great condition.
    Cons: A small thing, but we would prefer mugs in the room instead of cups and saucers. Also more variety of teas, coffees, and perhaps small packs of biscuits available to nibble. blinds in our room looked a bit tired, but adequate.

    Going to Edinburgh?? Stay here!!!

    Pros: The hostess was lovely. Breakfast was great. Great location, bus stop just opposite, cost £5 all day pass, takes minutes to get to Princes Street. Room was comfortable, facilities were very good.
    Cons: Boyf thought room was too warm, I didn't though, I thought it was perfect.
