Established in 2004 by Joaquin y Salvador Empreendimentos, JASE Hotels & Resorts is a 4-star and 5-star hotels in Douro Region and Porto in Portugal. Douro Palace Hotel & Resort Spa was formed out of the collective effort and vision to uplift the service and accommodation present in the lower Douro region. As a result of identified area and in line with previous project, the Douro Royal Valley Hotel & Spa was launched in 2015.

Come 2018, in the continuous effort of expanding the brand, the company decided to form a boutique hotel project they called Porto Royal Bridges Hotel situated in the heart of Porto. The idea is to stay connected to the rich history of the city specifically the bridges that link Gaia and Porto. This project was pioneered by NiniAngrae with the clear target of being unique among the rest of its competitors.
