Cons: I didn't like the lack of communication. We were asked on checking in if we would like to put a card against the room or pay as we go, we chose the latter. However we were not informed that in order to use room service you have to have a card against the room. So my partner went downstairs to put one on the room only to be told it has to be a credit card not debit so back to the room and reception again. Also I think a shower cap should be provided as the shower is a waterfall shower so it can be tricky if you don't want to wash your hair. Windows wouldn't stay open..

Cons: Pool area was quite municipal in style, a bit chilly with cold air from the aircon, and it really didn't smell great in there. You had to walk very far, including outdoors, to get to it from our room. We booked a suite for a treat, but the "lounge" area isn't very welcoming - it had no window, and isn't nicely designed, so we didn't actually want to use it. The bathroom extractor wasn't working so it smelled of damp and there has been some poor repair work done in there which makes it look very shabby. The cleaning in the room wasn't great - cobwebs above the window, bits on the carpets, hairs on the furniture in the lounge bit, sticky rings on the coffee table, bed sheets not tucked in properly. Pillow cases seemed way too small for the pillows. The bed was big, but is 2 twin beds pushed together with an extremely hard ridge down the middle. No cuddling together allowed, unless you want a sore side! Breakfast was OK, but if we'd paid £19.95 each for it as advertised, we'd have felt a bit sad about it! No fruit juice, instead some weird mixed squash-type stuff that tasted quite synthetic. Coffee from a machine, which was not great. Cups not cleaned properly, lots with rings inside/ stains in the bottom. Only decaf option was sachets of horrible instant. We ate in the restaurant in the evening - again the service was great, but the menu isn't (chips, burger, pizzas - same as in the bar) , and the food itself was just OK. Overall drastically overpriced for the experience and we wouldn't go back as a couple - may suit families better though.

Cons: The evening meal in the restaurant was not up to the expected standard. When asked about a drink we requested a Kir, the waitress didn't know what it was and told us the bar could only make what was on the drinks list. I wanted a steak but it could only be cooked medium, despite the menu stating it was cooked to order on a charcoal grill ( which was actually a plancha ) apparently it was 'tenderized in a water bath' - Code for out of the freezer ? I then ordered a reasonably expensive wine which just appeared on our table already open with no offer to taste it, along with a dirty glass. I would not have expected that type of service in any restaurant. My wife's main course was supposed to be accompanied by a sauce which was insufficient.

Cons: The bedroom was very warm because the heaters were on and no temperature control.

Like being in a school...

Cons: To many kids running around and dogs barking in rooms where they are left unattended,tried calling reception but had no answer for over 30 minutes
