    Pros: Hotel is on the quieter side of Nagoya station, a short 5 minute walk. There are lots of eating places around the area.
    Cons: Room is very cramped. Can do without the sofa and table to make space in the room for putting luggages. With the automated check-in machines, the staff seems to be less approachable.

    Perfect for our needs

    Pros: Great location for the station. Nice restaurants nearby. Laundry was really handy. Rooms comfy. Breakfast with vouchers was varied with pleasant staff. Didn't see much of Nagoya as we were there for F1 racing.

    Great location, great support from the hotel employee.

    Pros: Location is really great just a five mins walk from taiko dori exit. There is a 7-11 downstairs the hotel, and hotel front desk is really nice and friendly. I have multiple inquiries during my stay but they all help me with that and I can store one of my luggage for 3-4days at the hotel when traveling to other cities. That really help me to not caring two big luggage all the times.
    Cons: The second stay during Oct 15th to Oct 16th room is a bit not clean because I can see stain on the desk. And it is not that quiet as my first stays room.

    Unclean with bad mattresses - avoid this Daiwa Roynet

    Pros: Location is extremely convenient.
    Cons: I generally enjoy staying in Daiwa Roynet Hotels, but this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in Japan. 1) The toilet seat had brown splatters on and had clearly not be cleaned! There was hair from the previous guest on the bedroom floor as well - no vacuuming had taken place. 2) They showed me to a new room. It was OK but still, the bathroom area could have been cleaner. (The toilet wasn't perfect but, by this point, I was too tired). 3) The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and the sheets were so thin, they were partially see-through. 4) The windows don't open - this is a personal preference, but if you do any research on CO2 levels in rooms, I am sure you'll agree that airing the room is a good plan :) 5) For the price, the cleanliness, facilities, etc., were shockingly poor.

    Pros: Location was excellent. Just 5 minute walk to the Meitetsu line for the airport and 10 minute to the JR station. Ample food around the area.
    Cons: Check in and check out is through an automated machine which loses the human touch. The front desk staff only points you to the machine. Toilet bowl has stains which is not thoroughly cleaned.

    Excellent location for train travellers.

    Pros: Location was excellent, very closo to a Shinkansen exit in Nagoya. A bathroom design was excellent. A room was silent despite rather close to the station.
    Cons: The room was rather small even for two adults. There was not available a printed map of Nagoya in the reception.

    Clean, comfortable, central hotel

    Pros: Efficient friendly check in, clean comfortable rooms, great bathroom facilities, great to have both 7-11 and Vietnamese Restaurant on the ground floor, very handy to Nagoya Station and central Nagoya. We were staying there for the F1 Grand Prix and it was an easy 5 minute walk to the station each morning, and just 10 minutes from action on the other side of the station.
    Cons: After staying in the Daiwa Roynet Kyobashi in Tokyo, we missed small things like the bedside/desktop USB chargers - only small things though - otherwise great. The futon style beds were a bit firm and a bit short for our European bodies! :-)
