Cons: Terrible value. Extremely overpriced for the state of the rooms. The facilities are tired and need to be updated. The noise in the evenings is unacceptable, especially in relation to the cost of the stay.

Pros: For us the pros outweighed the cons and we enjoyed our stay there. We were warned to ask for a street-facing room on a higher floor and that was a good move. Place was 95% totally peaceful, but there were a couple of hours of reverie on the streets which for us were no big deal. Super-charming location. Right on a park in a very residential part of Condesa, with tons of restaurants nearby. Warm and welcoming staff. Cheerful and eager. Pretty decent Continental breakfast included. Good mattress and linens. Was clean. Walls are thick, no sound from other rooms, etc. Top floor is trendy bar-restaurant with good food and great view. 24 hour room service. We wanted to be in Condesa and all the other hotels were on busier streets. This felt a little like an oasis.

Cons: Rooms are typical boutique-hotel small. Very small! Bathroom very small. Shower curtain too short. Floor always got wet. Nowhere near enough room for big suitcases, etc. Annoying at first, but we adapted. Lighting in the room is really dim. They seem to think its cool, but sometimes annoying.

Pros: Second time at Condesa DF. It's good to be recognised and granted with an upgrade without asking. Such gesture that keeps clients happy and glad.

Cons: My husband and I came here on the second leg of our honeymoon following a relaxing trip in Tulum. We were hoping for a city-chic yet historical hotel that looked similar to the photos online. For nearly $500 USD a night, we were expecting some level of luxury. The outside of the building is beautiful- really stunning. Same with the rooftop. However, when we were let into our room I was severely disappointed. The bathroom was growing mold on the grout and floor, the rooms were SO incredibly small, there was a funky smell throughout, the floors were cracked and old. The rug under the bed was gross too. I actually cried after looking around (maybe a bit dramatic but felt so disappointed). We immediately asked if we could get our money back and we looked for a different place to stay- we felt as if we couldnt even sleep there. They said we could get our money back, however, the concierge Carlos was VERY kind to us and offered us an upgraded room that was a bit larger and had a terrace, as well as a complementary bottle of champagne. However, the bathroom was still not up to par, the floors had large gaps in the wood, and the room was still a rip off for the price we were paying- but we took it to avoid the hassle of finding a different hotel the night-of. The beds were rock hard and the inside of the room and hotel was just so outdated and run down. We tried to be out of the room as much as possible though, which helped. It was such a great location within walking distance to many bars, restaurants, and parks- so that helped! We luckily have our final few nights reserved at the Sofitel (absolutely beautiful- recommend staying here), which, for only $150 USD more a night, it is absolutely night and day and has redeemed our hotel experience here in CDMX.

Pros: the building and location is really pleasant. the interior is designed by a famous interior designer and for such has good looking details but not comfortables for the end user . the bathrooms are poor lit and the tub has a curtain only beautiful to look at on a magazine while when you shower you completely splash the bathroom that then it is all wet and slippery . I booked a corner suite and it was a waisted effort while the living room had a arc couch really uncomfortable , rigid and not inviting at all. lighting quite poor and with switches at the entry corridor with limited or absent flexibility to create a nice mood in the room. this is my second stay at this property. the first time I booked a standard room and all of my comments above were already part of my concerns at that time , I decided to try this hotel again and booking a bigger room wishing that it was better . unfortunately not and double expensive.

Cons: Every night when we came to the room we had no power and had to call the front desk. Towels every day was different and had to call daily for various sizes. The WIFI was not good, breakfast was not explained at check-in. The room was very dated with horrible lighting at night it was impossible to get ready or see, both in the bathroom and bedroom. We had to use the hall light. Place was not worth what was paid.
