Pros: The Location, The Room Size, The Continental Breakfast

Cons: The Additional $150. Hold On My Credit Card Until After Checkout. The Fact That Upon Entering The Room, There Were Dirty Panties Left In The Shower. There Were No Washcloths, And When I Asked To Have The Towels Replaced... Only They Sent Up 2. Upon Checkout, No One Was There... Then Someone Told Me To Just Leave My Cards On The Desk. I Then Had To Ask About The Removal Of The Hold On My Credit Card. I Just Felt They Were Unorganized, And Left The Patrons Fending For Themselves. I Have NEVER Experienced Such... And SADLY Chalked It Up To The "Cheap" Booking Rate, That Turned Out To Be NOT So Cheap w/The Unexpected $150. Hold.

Pros: It was a very clean and friendly atmosphere for a small hotel. I would definitely book a room there again. One in the area.

Cons: I was actually awoken by 2 people talking in the hallway. There wasn't a lot noise-canceling. Products in their walls.

Cons: What I payed at Priceline was fair but when I got there they told me they didn’t have that room so I was charged 33$ extra for a room I didn’t book was not happy why should I pay more for a room I didn’t ask for

Pros: Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. Close to family.

Cons: Carpets were stained, paint on walls were cracked and peeling. Faucet was hard to open in sink. Toilet was dingy, seat looked burned with bubbling paint. The ceiling in the bathroom was stained. Tub had weird shell shelves, one of which you hit every time you tried to turn around. The water would go up while you showered. Drain was slow to go down.

Pros: I really liked the staff until I tried to rebook. The hotel was to be expected for the pricing, meaning rooms would be a hit or miss - could have bugs, could have stains on sheets, walls, or the floor, etc.

Cons: When I tried to rebook, the manager wanted more money basically for the occupancy when at least going through bookings.com. Now, I didn't mind paying more even for the 'free' complementary breakfast, but here's the catch. Bookings.com has a model for occupancy, which this hotel isn't using, meaning any amount of occupants will come out to the same price. Bookings.com makes this very clear when the hotel uses this model. Don't even try to ask for matching pricing. It's crazy because I wanted to go through The View Inn directly to save them money for third-party fees no matter how small. If they had a problem with it the first time, I'm pretty sure they would have addressed it then. Bookings.com 'must' be showing the wrong pricing because if they aren't, it is clearly deceitful pricing. By this point, I was upset due to ignorance and disrespect. I now wouldn't stay here if the room was $30 a night. BTW, $250 security deposit for stays 4 nights or more; $150 for 3 nights or less. Keep in mind what you eat at the breakfast. Some of the food may have been prepared a prior day. Also, you can't take food upstairs, but many cheap hotels have this policy. Also, this is an independent establishment - they 'should' have move leniency over pricing, you would think.

Cons: Worn carpets in stair wells,not a good look.
