Cons: Very old style building, looked very old fashioned. It does not appear to be a 5 star hotel. It does have a lot of pools but a lot of them are very shallow where the water is up to your ankles. The walls are so thin in the hotel that you can hear multiple conversations from all surrounding rooms. We had to cancel the rest of our trip as me and my family did not get any sleep. Thankfully booking.com gave my money back due to the experienced we had and we went back to the hotel we stayed at before we arrived here which was exceptional.

The capsules in the coffee machine were 2 euro/each. Very strange for the 5-star hotel! And what astonished me most of all was the lunch box in the early morning when we were leaving earlier the breakfast. The picture of the lunch box in the attachment. Furniture in the room number was old. Didnt feel myself in the 5-star hotel at all.

Pros: I stayed at the Colonna Resort for just one night during my work tour around Europe. Thanks to my job, I regularly stay in 5-star hotels, and I must say that the Colonna Resort offers unbeatable value for money. Considering the cost compared to the average hotels in the area, it's perfect. I chose it because of its very high Wi-Fi score, and I must say I wasn't disappointed, quite the opposite. I believe I'll be returning with my family next year to explore more of this beautiful location.

Pros: I liked everything at this resort. I stayed for 4 nights and didnt want to leave. It has amazing views from the breakfast and pools areas. The beach was small but I liked it. It has a beautiful garden that I sat and meditate. It has multiple pools all of them are good and clean with a jacuzzi but the water was cold. Breakfast was very good and lunch and dinner at the resort is incredible . I had sea view room and my room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Didnt hear any noise at night but during the day I could hear some noises through the walls. The resort offers a two way shuttle bus to porto cervo free of charge. The resort also offers a boat trip with small groupto la Maddalena island and stop at different beaches. The trip cost 150 including lunch aperitif and desert and free of charge bus that went to the port and dropped us back at the resort The SPA was really great and relaxing with heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish hammam. The service at the resort was a bit slow but the staff were helpful.A little renovation to this resort will make it top notch but i have a good time there. Would recommend this resort if you are looking to relax by the beach, pool and SPA with restaurants for lunch and dinner and room service especially if you dont have a car.

Cons: Outdated Decor and Facilities: The first impression upon entering the resort was the outdated decor and facilities. The lobby seemed stuck in the past, with worn-out furnishings and a lack of the opulence one would expect from a 5-star resort. The rooms were no better, featuring old furniture and a general lack of attention to detail in terms of interior design. Lackluster Cleanliness: Cleanliness is paramount in any hotel, especially one aiming for a 5-star rating. Unfortunately, Colonna Resort fell short in this regard. The room was not as clean as I would have expected, and there were signs of neglect in the bathroom, with mold in the corners and a musty odor, as well as spider net all across the ceiling.. Subpar Service: The only staff member friendly and willing to help was Chiara, but she was not able by herself to provide the level of service that matches the 5-star label. Response times of all the others to requests were slow, and there was a noticeable lack of attention to detail. For example, my room was not replenished with fresh towels on a couple of occasions, and it took multiple calls to rectify this simple oversight. Dining Disappointment: Dining options at the resort left much to be desired. The breakfast buffet, touted as a highlight, was underwhelming with limited variety and quality that did not meet the standards of a 5-star establishment. The on-site restaurants offered mediocre fare at high prices, making dining a lackluster experience overall. Underwhelming Amenities: While the resort did have some amenities such as a pool and spa, they were far from the luxurious experiences. The pool area loungers were in need of maintenance. The spa services, while decent, were only accessible with payment
