Dissapointed, the hotel seems overrated

Cons: Maybe it was just a bad day for the hotel, but here is what happened: 1) The first rom had a bad smell in it, we had to move to another room 2) There was a strong smell of cleaning supplies in the hall 3) There was a water leak in the appliance room close to our room there was a loud noise from the cleaning vacuum the whole morning 4) Finally, after all of this, when we decided to check out and find another place, we were charged for the whole next day (we checked out around 1:30PM)

Great Hotel!!

Pros: The hotel was easy to get to. They have garage parking that they lock up at night, but you can still get in and out. We didn't use our car at night, so check with them. Loved the room!! We got a room with a separate seating area and it was perfect for us. Will definitely stay at this hotel on our next trip. The St. Charles streetcar stops right by the hotel.

Cons: Nothing that we didn't like.

Pros: Clean, spacious and modern room. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Cons: Would have appreciated a microwave in room. Also this hotel doesn’t have a large lobby or any eat-in facilities. Not a big deal but you have to plan to eat in your room or in a restaurant.

Clean and nicely decorated, good...

Pros: Clean, nicely decorated hotel, very large room with comfortable king bed. Relatively small bathroom, but adequate with a full-size walk-in shower. Good water pressure and temperature. Secure parking in an on-site garage is a big plus and one of the main reasons I picked this hotel. Located at the southern (eastern) end of the Garden District. Very good location on St. Charles for the Irish Day and Mardi Gras parades. Walking distance to Magazine Street, cable car to Downtown if you desire. Many good restaurants within walking distance, street car or short drive.

Cons: The lobby is clean and well decorated, just not very warm and welcoming. It would be nice if the restaurant/bar was operational to help liven the atmosphere.

Cons: The room was dirty upon arrival, carpet stained, floor sticky. Towels are slightly smelly. Hotel front staff are sitting on couches in the evening and slightly unprofessional. The hotel is in slight disrepair. The windows are very dirt. Microwave in hall is behind dirty. No water. Full trash. I would expect this hotel be above a Hampton inn or business hotel. It's not.

Pros: The staff are all very nice. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are large.

Cons: The mattress was hard but doable. You can smell there has been some water damage. The owners should replace the carpet and look into getting rid of the mildew smell.

Pros: The staff was amazing , the rooms was exactly what we needed and the balcony was perfect to sit and view the public. We loved the shampoo and body wash and the aromatic sent in the hotel made me feel relaxed.

Great location

Pros: This property is located on St. Charles close to restaurants and bars and offers free parking. Not many hotels offer this perk. It’s a small hotel but the service was very friendly and the rooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. They don’t serve breakfast but there are places to find breakfast nearby. I would stay here again!
