Perfect quiet location, very comfortable...

Pros: From the moment we arrived, the owners were so warm and helpful and we had an unexpected upgrade from a King Room to a King Suite ! The owners were very knowledgeable about Nelson and surroundings and gave us some good suggestions as to where we may like to visit.

Pros: A fantastic find. The hotel is a short walk from the restaurant district and Church Hill. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. Dean and Tomoko are excellent hosts and very willing to share ideas for dining out and exploring the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: Best Motor lodge we have stayed at. Not only was it quiet which is something a lot of motor lodges fail to be. But it also had the best coffee I’ve managed to find since we started travelling from Auckland. The spar bath was just brilliant. Had a few such spar baths over the previous 3 weeks and this was hands down the best. Parking was good. Distance to centre and shops was a short walk. Staff were great. Very much worth staying here. Just make sure you get the spar bath room :)

Pros: Location was brilliant and so close all to amenities. Dean and Tomoko were so welcoming and even went out of their way to drop us to the airport when we were leaving.

Pros: So very welcoming, the owners went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. The rooms were beautifully appointed, clean and well stocked. Our room had a spa bath which unfortunately I didn’t have time to enjoy! We were able to use the washing machine and dryer for a small fee. Beds were super comfortable. Would definitely come back.

Pros: We booked 2 bedroom unit. Very clean and comfortable, very spacious. It was very quiet being at the far end from the road. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Easy, walking distance to centre of the town. Would stay again.

Cons: Only one thing I’d change is the bedside lamps. The lamp shade obscures the light, not ideal for reading. Everything else was excellent.
