Pros: This pristine property has an exceptional view of the Harbor and beautiful Charleston! The shuttle bus to downtown (runs every hour) is a great asset as parking in downtown Charleston is tough. Friendly & efficient employees are kind & helpful.

Cons: The value. At check in, I explained I wanted the entire cost to be charged to the credit card I was presenting at check-in. After check out, I discovered the deposit fee was charged to the credit card I asked to hold the room. And the amount of that deposit fee, didn't add up to anything that made sense (ie. night room rate). Reserving the room with booking.com also cost an extra $42.00 per night. I was told at check in that the shuttle service and water taxi was extra to use. When calling the #800 for booking.com, I was told this $42 fee (per night) covered parking, transportation using either the shuttle or water taxi. Servicing I didn't use because again I was told those were additional fees. Prior to arrive, the group I was traveling with called the hotel directly and cancelled their reservation using booking.com and made it directly with the hotel and didn't have to pay the additional fees. So basically it cost me $84 to park a car .. that's ridiculous! I wouldn't recommend booking.com to anyone nor do I plan to use your services in the future. I feel like I deserve a refund, but don't expect to see it.
