Beautiful stay at Ellaidhoo

Pros: Beautiful stay at Ellaidhoo This is our third time in Maldives and we like to explore new Islands. So we came across Ellaidhoo... From the beginning, till the end... Just amazing... The best from our three visits... Food was amazing and tasty. Every day they had another freshly prepare dishes...even with veggies from their organic Garden... All the chefs, waiters, host/Hostess were all just amazing. Incase you had a wish, they made sure they tried to fulfil it. The rooms were big and clean. The housekeeping cleaned thrice a day, which was sooo good. Coming to reception, from the welcoming part till the check out... They did their best to make us comfortable in all way. All the staffs were very Kind, welcoming, polite and professional in their own ways. I used the Spa Service everyday. They did just awesome massages. They were very flexibel to adjust on customer need. Manager did a good price package for us too.. Now coming to reef. This is just tooo awesome. The Resort took so much care inorder to keep the corals and reefs very beautiful. This was very much reflected too, since we could watch different variety fishes during the day, even if u didnt snorkel or dive. Obviously diving and snorkeling gives you the wow effect and the unexceptional experience. The island is plastic free and the take such good care of the island. The Manager of the Island himself came few time to enquire if everything was good, which i felt was too good. I assume and hope the staffs are take good care, from how the things work there. I truely appreciate this, if this is the case so... All in all it was just awesome... If u get a Chance, please dont miss it I would like to mention few namens who did kiddo Service.... Cons: Points to improve as a Suggestion are the night Entertainments. Would have been nice if the could do something different. Also Mr.Gasim at reception. The only person who was unfriendly in the whole Island i would say. We asked him about our check out confirmation. He was kinda rude to us in giving the information. Well such one Person could ruin the whole name of the Resort. Thanks to Ellaidhoo for the amazing time. Hope to be back soon

Pros: Everything was wonderful and all staffs were super nice. We went for our honeymoon and everybody made us feel so special. Would recommend this place to anybody. Plenty of food selection and water bungalow was everything we ever wanted.

Amazing travel sustainable resort in the Maldives!

Pros: The island/resort is beautiful and we loved exploring the house reef. The staff was very friendly and always did their best to please everyone. We stayed all-inclusive and that was definitely worth it. Ellaidhoo also strives to be as environmental friendly and travel sustainable as possible. It was great to learn more about their initiatives such as reducing plastic all over the resort.

Cons: The transfer information was a bit vague as we didnt know beforehand where we would need to go at the airport but it turned out fine because there was someone waiting for us upon arrival

Very nice resort, friendly staff and great location (house reef)

Pros: We had a water bungalow with dedicated restaurant. Stayed for almost 2 weeks, continuous mix of food for lunch/dinner. Staff very friendly (no idea where some reviews regarding uninterested staff are coming from as they are excellent). Bungalow very comfortable, great bed and cleaned twice a day if needed. House reef is amazing, lots to see with diving or snorkling. Option to do manta ray snorkling or diving and whaleshark snorkling/diving. The kitchen and waiting staff are a valuable asset, you have a seat allocation and always the same waiter which works out nice. The staff made our holiday definitely even better! It was also nice to help with the coral re-planting together with the in-house marine biologist to increase coral growth. Everyday shark feeding at 1730 is also amazing to see.

Cons: The all inclusive package was sufficient for us as we dont drink much alcohol. We had plenty to choose from but not every cocktail or liquor is included which makes it perhaps a tiny bit limiting for some people. Make sure to bring enough cash for tips, there is no way to get extra cash on the resort (no option to charge the card in exchange for cash for example). Limited supplies on the island so make sure you have all your amenities you need. If you want to go diving make sure to check the prices so they do not come as a surprise. Friendly diveschool but diving in Maledives is not cheap, so also the resort diveschool is not cheap compared to lots of other places in the world (additional charge per dive for every used equipment, additional boat fees etc which make it a bit complicated to keep track of). However very friendly and flexible staff.

Pros: The resort was really nice. All the staffs were really friendly and always willing to serve the guests. Snorkelling was really beautiful and shark feeding was really nice. The food was top class. Delicious South Indian food with vast variety including rare traditional foods. sweets and fruits were awesome. a really nice trip and hoping to visit again.

Cons: There is nothing I didnt like about the property. The only thing I can say is the distance from male airport to the destination is more than 1 hour by speed boat.

Pros: From the staff to the water bungalow itself everything was exceptional! Wide varieties of food for breakfast/lunch and dinner and themed food nights were such a enjoyment. I would love to compliment Kamal and Jesseca, their positivity and hospitality made us want to come back again! And we definitely will

Nice resort, wonderful bar staff and waiters

Pros: The staff was super nice and available. Bar tenders and waiters always there when you needed them! Fish everywhere even if the water was not always clean from seaweeds or minor plastic objects. Appreciate the low ecological impact policy of the resort, very smart and long term solutions.

Cons: The sea was not always super accessible due to a very aggressive trigger fish. All inclusive formula not including a lot of extras on top of beverages.

Pros: This is paradise. Food is amazing. Beach bungalow has everything you might need. Lots of privacy. 3-4 cocktails I could drink for the rest of my life. Sustainable way of living. Staff is just incredible, not only professional and helpful, but also super friendly and funny. We had the best honeymoon we could ask for. Thank you everyone at Ellaidhoo, especially Unaish at the restaurant for taking good care of us and entertainment every night. :)

Cons: Nothing to do with the resort, but be aware if you have sensitive ears (for example, my husband has had an infection in the last year, so he got an infection now) and go snorkeling, clean ears carefully with fresh water after to avoid infection. We got the medical help we needed really quickly though.

Pros: It is very clean and the food was delicious.

Cons: 1_ The price for the speed boat transfer is too high 2_ There is no guide person, if you need to swim in the ocean.
